  1. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I do a great deal of work on articles dealing with non-fiction books, dealing with psychology and other topics, and EBSCO access would assist me greatly. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 21:51, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
@FreeKnowledgeCreator: Approved We have a good selection of materials on psychology and literature. Expect an email within 24 hours with further details. -Thibbs (talk) 06:47, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

  2. Star Garnet (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Academic Search Complete, MasterFILE Complete and America: History and Life would help with hundreds of biographies of American diplomats that I have planned. Star Garnet (talk) 13:24, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
@Star Garnet: Approved Expect an email within 24 hours with further details. -Thibbs (talk) 02:41, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
  3. Damoon4all (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I make edits to many Nigerian articles on Wikipedia. Access to this resource will enable me enrich my knowledge on Nigerian/African literature, language, history and culture with the view to making more useful edits on Wikipedia. In my country, Nigeria, we don't have access to premium databases and online libraries like this so this would go a long way to help me.
Not approved Damoon4all: As you don't yet meet the experience requirements, I think it would be helpful for you to do a bit more editing first before applying for access. In the interim, I recommend using the Resource Exchange to seek specific sources you may need. -Thibbs (talk) 20:42, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
Please consider re-applying for an account after you have made a few more edits to the encyclopedia and I will be happy to reexamine your qualifications. -Thibbs (talk) 20:42, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
  4. Kober (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Since 2004, I have made nearly 40,000 edits on English Wikipedia and created more than 1,400 new articles, mostly pertaining to geography, culture, and history of the Caucasus, Middle East, and Eastern Europe. I find many of the titles listed here very useful. --KoberTalk 19:51, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
@Kober: Approved Expect an email within 24 hours with further details. -Thibbs (talk) 22:45, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
  5. Samwalton9 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Editor for many years, >60 created articles, *cough* Partnerships Coordinator for TWL *cough*, would find this access to these resources generally useful for my content creation work, which I'm starting to do more of again :) Sam Walton (talk) 00:34, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
@Samwalton9: Well here's where I would normally ask you to clarify which specific parts of the EBSCO collection you were interested in or which of your editing areas would be benefited by access to EBSCO. My intent is to assess whether or not access will in fact help the applicant who may or may not be familiar with the specific titles in the collection and their respective scopes. But... I have private knowledge that you are intimately familiar with the specific titles and their scopes so no need for that. :)
Approved Expect an email within 24 hours with further details. -Thibbs (talk) 02:19, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
  6. DoctorWho42 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email), I've created about 350 articles and have 3 DYKs. While the subjects vary, I would be more interested in writing more articles on literature. Since graduating from CSUMB, I've been asking random friends with institutional access to help with research, buying back issues of old magazines for critical reception via AbeBooks (If or Galaxy Science Fiction) or cannibalizing old citations from research papers to bolster new articles, i.e. The Falling Astronauts, etc. Given much of what I need is only available via interlibrary loan or beyond paywalls, I feel like this would help my research a great deal.-🐦Do☭torWho42 (📼) 00:15, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
@DoctorWho42: Approved I think you'll be able to make good use of both the Science Fiction Studies journal within the Humanities Full Text collection as well as the Book Review Digest Plus collection. Expect an email within 24 hours with further details. -Thibbs (talk) 00:42, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
  7. Wolfdog (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have been editing Wikipedia for over a decade (some 11,000 edits) and my main interests have largely become sociolinguistics and dialectology of the English language, with some of my most edited linguistics pages being General American, Southern American English, North American English regional phonology, Hiberno-English, Inland Northern American English, etc. I used to have access to many databases grandfathered through my university, but my access through the university has since expired. I'd love to continue building linguistics pages on WP, and it seems that EBSCO is one of the best resources for this. Wolfdog (talk) 22:22, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
