She's known for her risque - and often outlandish - outfit choices.

And Charli XCX slipped into another skimpy ensemble as she took to the stage in San Francisco on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old flaunted her toned pins and flat stomach in a tight-fitting crop top and mini shorts during the energetic performance.

Opting for a sporty vibe, the British singer teamed the printed two-piece with a pair of white trainers and a matching pink base ball cap.

She finished off the look with a pair of large hoop earrings and a 90s inspired choker necklace to complement the sequin trim on her shorts.

Wearing her brunette tresses down over her shoulders, Charli accentuated her complexion with a dash of blusher, before adding a berry lipstick.

It comes as the Boom Clap hitmaker released a mixtape titled Number 1 Angel last month, after the release of her follow-up to 2014 album Sucker was pushed back to September.

Charli recently spoke about her frustration about the delay in releasing her third album, telling The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show in the US: 'I'm like, "We're gonna push it back 'til September?" I made that album, some of it, in like 2015.'

She also revealed her mixtape took just two weeks to finish, saying: 'I just got bored and just made a load of songs and decided to put them out.I work quickly, I am ready to put things out.'

The songstress also recently told The Daily Telegraph that she is proud to be described as a pop artist. 

She said: 'I don't agree pop is a dirty word anymore... maybe for people who are idiots,' she said.

'When you look at what artists are collaborating and what music is on the radio, I would say we are in a really good place, it is exciting.'
