While Ashleigh Defty turned her back on TV, she revealed on Instagram on Monday that she has now a fully qualified personal trainer as she shared a sizzling bikini-clad snap accompanied by an impassioned note regarding body confidence.

The 22-year-old reality star insisted that she's 'not perfect but happy' as she dwelled on her changing shape in which she has flitted up and down in size during her university days before urging her fans to 'sort your s**t out' by the age of 25.

Ashleigh entered the Ex On The Beach house as Scotty T's ex-girlfriend before she became romantically involved with James Moore, with whom she became intimate on-screen after a series of embarrassing bedroom incidents.

Since leaving the show, the stunning star still courts attention on her social media pages, often catching the eye of her 250,000 Instagram followers with sexy bikini snaps atop pictures taken in barely-there ensembles.

The Newcastle-born beauty's latest snap saw her share a mirror snap in which she stripped down to a barely-there pink bikini with hearts layered over the cups and perilously low-cut bottoms to help show off her abs.

While Ashleigh certainly seemed to ooze body confidence, she was quick to dwell on how her body has changed over the years, particularly during her hard-partying university days leading into her personal training programme.

She said: 'I'm not perfect but I'm HAPPY! Im happy with the direction im heading. I've said so many times I let myself go the last 2/3 years! I struggled to maintain the slim toned frame I had when i was 18 BUT I also think to myself they where my prime teens!! I did a season away, I lived out with my friends at uni.

'I was always out getting f*cked up. I worked in clubs, I had the most funnest times of my life literally! I obviously gained weight - Girls & boys reading this we are never going to have the same body throughout our lives its all part of growing up live your teens have a few mental years off the rails go traveling!

'Get it out your system then sort your shit out when your ready (My opinion max age 25). It took me untill the end of last year to realise that. I am fortunate enough i guess to have a large social media following, been on tv & in the press, with this I am and have been CONSTANTLY criticised.
