Nearby, two other men are seen wrestling while onlookers gasp in horror.

A security guard is then seen breaking up one of the brawls, while a second video shows four guards holding a man, wearing a purple cardigan, and dragging him out of the shop as he shouts in protest.

The man, who did not want to be named, told The Sun: 'I was walking past and two men grabbed me and started to punch me.

But the man denies that he started it, and said: 'I was walking past and two men grabbed me and started to punch me'

'I had never met them before. I don’t know what is wrong with them. They started it.'

He added that he had acted in 'self defence'.

One witness also told the newspaper it was a 'dumb fight' and said: 'It was just shameful cause Harrods security didn’t intervene until it got out of hand and they were like "no fighting at Harrods".'

A spokeswoman for Harrods told MailOnline: 'Harrods security ejected one male from the store following a short altercation between a small group of customers on Saturday evening.'

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police could not confirm if officers attended the scene on Saturday.
