Tara Reid appeared worryingly thin as she arrived at LAX airport on Monday.

The Sharknado star, 41, drowned her slender frame in an oversized tracksuit, complete with loose-fitting bottoms and a hoodie while toting a colourful rucksack.

Typically clad in scanty ensembles, she was uncharacteristically covered up following her journey as she pulled on sunglasses to shield her make-up free face.

The jumper seemed to be several sizes too big for Tara, which acted to highlight her svelte frame, as did the huge rucksack which hung off her back.

Having previously undergone a procedure for body contouring, she admitted she was unhappy with the results.

She explained: 'My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing," she says. "I had a hernia, this huge bump next to my bellybutton. As a result, I couldn't wear a bikini. I lost a lot of work.'
