Kristin Cavallari got her husband Jay Cutler's go-ahead before posting a photo of his bare behind to Instagram from Tulum last week.

'Jay was feeling it, you know? So, I just decided to post a picture,' she gossiped to Access Hollywood this Tuesday. 'I’m surprised he let me.'

The snapshot saw the free agent NFL quarterback staring out to sea as he stood apparently nude on a wooden balcony, showing off his athletic build.

'I did ask him if I could - I wanna clear that up - and yeah, we were just having fun,' Kristin said this week. 'You know, we were just being silly.'

Jay had played for the Chicago Bears from 2009 until the end of last year's season, and was officially released by the time early last month.

Kristin's admitted the difficulty of parting ways from them, saying: 'You know, he’s been there for so long. I mean, we met in Chicago.'

The erstwhile Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County star began dating Jay in 2010, meaning 'I’ve only ever known Jay as a bear, which is so funny to say.'

Though 'of course it’s sad,' she dished that 'we’ll see' which team he ultimately winds up in, divulging that 'He hasn’t made a final decision yet.'

Kristin and Jay welcomed their first son Camden in 2012, married the following year, had another son called Jaxon in 2014 and produced their daughter Saylor in 2015.

When the Access Hollywood reporter floated the idea of another baby, Kristen, 30, cut her off mid-sentence, assuring her: 'No. No. No, we’re done. We’re done.'

As it stands, 'with three, we feel like a very complete family. We’re happy. You know, we got our girl. Like, it’s all - it’s all good, and so, we don’t need to rock the boat.'

The family's decamping from Chicago to Nashville, where they've already got a home and where Kristin and Jay got married, a source told People last month.

Asked whether she'd consider moving her children back to California, Kristin told Access Hollywood: 'I don’t know. I don’t think so.'

Her reasoning is that 'I definitely want my kids to have as normal of a life as possible, you know, given the circumstances' of their having famous parents.

She's not certain 'that can happen in LA, with paparazzi and all that,' and explained that 'I don’t want cameras in my kids’ faces.'
