He welcomed his second son last month.
And on Wednesday Benedict Cumberbatch enjoyed a few hours off from nappy duty as he joined his pals at the launch of antiques and tailoring boutique Labassa Woolfe in London.
The Sherlock star, 40, turned out to support his pal, stylist Joe Woolfe, but admitted to party-goers at the star-studded event that he was looking forward to getting back home to his newborn son Hal and wife Sophie Hunter, 39.

He has yet to formally announce the news – but it was reported last month that the couple have welcomed their second son, thought to be named Hal.
Sophie gave birth to their second son at the £1,200-a-night Portland Hospital in London on March 3. And in true thespian style, Cumberbatch named his boy after a Shakespearean hero.
Hal was the nickname Henry V had before he became the hero of Agincourt. But in choosing the name, Cumberbatch could also be acknowledging his affection for fellow screen star Tom Hiddleston.
