But Hilary Duff was going Younger - professionally, at least, on Tuesday in NYC.

The 29-year-old actress was spotted looking furry-nice on the set of her TV show Younger as she arrived to shoot scenes for the fourth season.

She was bundled in a coffee coloured fur coat, and had her caffeine fix in her hand.

The star also had a Whole Foods carrier, as she arrived looking stylish in black leather trousers and a cream top.

The beauty had her blonde tresses long and loose, worn in a centre parting.

She made her way to her trailer, where she discarded her sunglasses and changed into her character's wardrobe.

Instead of dirty black sneakers, she was in red heels and a figure-hugging blue shirt dress by Veronica Beard.

Hilary looked flawless with expertly applied make-up emphasising her almond eyes, framed by perfectly groomed brows.

She was joined by Molly Kate Bernard on set.

They are currently filming scenes for Season 4 of the show, which stars Sutton Foster as a 40-year-old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing – and succeeds.

Season 3 found Liza (Foster) working under Diana (Miriam Shor) as she tried to figure out how to balance her real life and her fake life.

She is best friends with Maggie (Debi Mazar) in reality but her younger crew of friends includes co-workers Kelsey (Duff) and fashion publicist Lauren (Bernard).

The divorced blonde beauty acknowledged she has had a rocky love life recently, in the new issue of Redbook and told the publication that dating 'sucks' in LA .

'I never think being single sucks until I go out in L.A. with my girlfriends and the options are terrible. I really attract the old men!' she said.

The star also talked her ex-husband Mike Comrie, but only when it comes to co-parenting their son Luca with him.

'Some of my friends tell me, “God, it must be so nice, you get a break from your kid because you share him,"' she said.

'I’m divorced, and it sucks. Well, it did suck for a while; now it’s just normal.

'But it’s true, I do get a break. I had Luca by myself for a few weeks, no help, when Mike was on the road, and when he got home I was like, "He’s yours! Bye!"'

And the Texas native was also candid about the pressure that comes with being a working mother.

'I always feel torn or guilty about something. I’m not working right now, and at first I stressed about that, like, “Oh, I shouldn’t stay still this long.” And that’s ridiculous. I have a child; it’s totally fine to not be slammed all the time. It feels really good to not be on someone else’s schedule—besides Luca’s. I’m basically his chauffeur!'

The Younger actress was married to now-retired hockey player Comrie from 2010 until last year, and their son was born in 2012.
