They have worked side by side for years on the home makeover show Flip Or Flop.

But now that Christina and Tarek El Moussa have split up, they want their own shows.

According to a Wednesday report from InTouch Weekly, the 33-year-old blonde beauty and the 35-year-old dark-haired designer are actively competing to see who lands the first spinoff.

The magazine claimed that Christina has been pitching her own show for months, first to HGTV, the home of Flip Or Flop, then other stations.

'She's hell bent on breaking out on her own,' a source said about the stunning blonde.

But talking to other TV producers has angered HGTV, it was claimed, and she now has to make nice with them.

The source also said as far back as May 2016 Tarek was pitching his own show about contractor in Southern California.

It was added he spent money on creating his own 'sizzle reel,' which is like a taste of what the show will be like.

But no one bit. It was blamed on his reputation. A source said he is not 'easy' to work with because he has a big ego.

Christina and Tarek's secret split was revealed in December after they separated seven months prior. The bombshell news came amid reports of on-set tension between the estranged husband and wife as well as police reports of a troubling incident between the pair in May.

Tarek and Christina were married in 2009 and announced their split in December. They have starred on the reality series since 2013. They have a daughter Taylor, six and son Brayden, one.

Tarek filed for divorce in January.
