She added, 'Shag Spike obviously... I don't want to kill Xander though,' as host Andy Cohen reminded her she had to choose one character to kill.

'You can't make me, you can't make me do it,' Gellar joked.

Sarah played Buffy in the hit show while her vampire love interest Angel was played by David Boreanaz.

She also had a romantic tryst with vampire Spike (James Marsters).

Buffy's classmate Xander was played by Nicholas Brendon.

Another fan asked the star why Anthony Stewart Head, who played Buffy's mentor Rupert Giles in the series, and Eliza Dushku, who played slayer Faith, weren't included in the Entertainment Tonight 20th anniversary coverage or interviews last week.

'Anthony was in England - he was doing a play so we couldn't get him,' Gellar explained.

'I don't know about Eliza' she said, 'I didn't control—I think there was just so many people, it was hard enough.'

'You can't make me, you can't make me do it,' Gellar joked when host Andy Cohen said she had to pick someone to kill
