In September she took part in the Nautica Triathlon in Malibu, her first outing in the grueling sport, to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Now it seems America Ferrera is hooked.

On Sunday, the 32-year-old actress kissed and hugged her director-actor husband Ryan Piers Williams as they gleefully high-fived in the ocean after competing in the Lavaman Triathlon on The Big Island of Hawaii.

The Ugly Betty star started off by swimming 1.5k (0.9 of a mile) then cycled for an exhausting 40k (24.8 miles) before finishing with a grueling 10k (6.2 miles) run.

That adds up to an amazing 65k or just under 32 miles.

And, like the last time, America shared the experience with her fans on social media.

One Instagram snap before the event showed her with Ryan, 35, and her older sister in swimming gear, which she captioned: 'I roped my big sister into doing her first triathlon with me and the hubs in 2 days!!!'

She added: 'Dragged her out here to hideous Hawaii to get acclimated! We saw turtles on our swim!!! (@ryanpierswilliams bleached his hair cause we reached 10k in fundraising for @leukemialymphomasociety!!'

The Sisterhood Of The Travelling pants star also urged her fans to donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in a series of hashtags.

She added Instagram videos showing Ryan swimming and herself on a bike plus one of her running across the finish line on a beach.

The triumphant brunette posted a selfie waving her Lavaman medal, captioned: 'Triathlon #2 in the bag!! #Lavaman, you were hot, but I survived! Got my personal best swim time! And ran on my rehabbed ankle the whole time! No walking! I own you, Lavaman!'

That was quickly followed by one of her flat out that she jokingly captioned: 'I'm the one on the floor. #TeamFerrilliams crushed. #dead,' as Ryan and her sister waved their own medals.
