During her interview, Gemma discussed Hollywood sexism and how film bosses rank high-profile actresses.
According to the Standard, she said: 'When you make films about women, you can’t get financing in the same way you would if it was a film about men.
'Oh no, it really exists, I’m like a C,' Gemma admits. 'I know, because I am sitting in the meetings trying to get financing for films that I’m in and they’re like: ‘We love you, but could you also get… [insert category A actress]?’”
The St. Trinian's star was the picture of elegance in the white ensemble, which served to elongate her famously leggy figure.
Formed of a delicate silk, the trousers softly skimmed her svelte figure and long legs all the way to the floor.

Keeping the look sophisticated, Gemma teamed the strides with a white Victoriana blouse - which pulled into long sleeves and a ruched high neck, before flashing her silk vest underneath with its semi-sheer material.
Remaining sophisticated from head to toe, Gemma accessorised with sky-high silver heels and a classic navy coat, which she carried in the balmy London weather.
Sweeping her trademark brunette bob to one side, the actress left her naturally striking features and radiant complexion on show - which she accentuated with rosy blusher and subtly smoky eye.
The star seemed in good spirits as she embarked on her interview, as she chatted and laughed animatedly with the presenter onstage.

Speaking to ES magazine, Gemma explained: 'For the first seven or eight years of my career, I was doing stuff because I thought I should, or I thought I was lucky to get that part.'
Referencing her time as a Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace, she continued: 'It sits really badly with me when I make something I'm not proud of, or doesn't say what I want to say.'
When asked whether she would ever feature in another Bond film however, she replied: 'I don't want to slag off that film because I really enjoyed it.
'I was 21 and it was a trip - but would I do it now? No.'
