Molly McFadden, 15, enjoys quality time with her family at Chessington as mum Kerry Katona reveals she's 'heartbroken' that her eldest is moving to Ireland to become a surgeon

Kerry Katona said she's 'heartbroken' that her daughter Molly McFadden is moving to Ireland to study in order to become a surgeon.

So it comes as no surprise that she planned a family day out at Chessington World Of Adventures, to maximise her time with her eldest child before the move.

Kelly and Molly held hands as they dared to go on the famous Vampire ride together, whizzing past trees with both delight and fear etched on their faces.

Last month, former Westlife singer Brian, who is now based in Lancashire, revealed that Molly will move in with his parents in Ireland in September, so that she can study without distractions.

The 36-year-old told OK! magazine: 'Mostly we go back to Ireland because my mum and dad live there. My oldest is going to school in Dublin in September, so she's probably going to live with my mum and dad.

'I think it'll be easier for Molly to concentrate on her exams there. It's going to make things harder now for us all to be together, but you have to make sacrifices.'

Molly even received some celebrity backing from Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei who tweeted: 'eeee she's amazing!!!!'

But the shy teen didn't seem to pleased with the exposure, jokingly tweeting her mum: 'oh dear what have you done'.

Molly was no doubt also left red-faced after her father announced she wasn't allowed to date.

Appearing on Loose Women last year, Brian said: 'My girls are great, they're getting so old. We were just looking at photos of Molly coming out of the hospital, and it’s just like how did that happen so fast?'

But Brian quickly shut down any speculation that his teenage daughters were allowed to date, as he joked: 'It's not going to happen. They're going to be asexual for the rest of their lives. Just them on their own, forever.'

Kerry and Brian wed in 2002 but split just two years later, with their divorce being finalised in 2006.
