'Fake abs for $11.81!': Ludacris mocks himself for CGI muscles with link to body prop after fans roast new music video
Ludacris has said that he's not willing to make concessions in his diet for the perfect body.
So it's no wonder that he turned to CGI magic to sport a six-pack in his new Vitamin D music video.
But after fans mocked the cartoonish-looking muscles on social media, the rapper acknowledged the digital enhancement on Monday and fired back with a joke of his own.

'Fake abs here for $11.81!' Ludacris joined the chorus of mockery over his CGI abs in his new Vitamin D music video on Monday
Cheaper alternative: Ludacris shared a link to a body plate accessory
'Do you want your own fake abs, but can't afford CGI? Get your fake abs here for $11.81!' he tweeted, along with a link to a flesh-colored chest-and-abs plate costume accessory.
In the music video, which debuted on Sunday and features Ty Dolla $ign, Ludacris lives out the storyline of his dreams. He portrays a hard-bodied doctor who has a roster of sexy female patients in need of his care.
However, the final clip reveals it was only a dream, and he wakes up shirtless, showing his naturally toned, but far less impressive physique.
Still, the humor was lost on some fans who thought the entertainer was trying to dupe viewers.

Not duped: An eagle-eyed fan pointed out that there was a lack of consistency with the CGI
Among some of the biting comments, the digitally enhanced muscles were compared to dinner rolls and video game characters.
'Are we just gonna ignore ludacris thought Bat suit abs were gonna go unnoticed?' a Twitter user commented, comparing the body to Batman's costume.
Another critic pointed out that some scenes show him without the extra muscle, which is out of sync with video's narrative. The final clip reveals that he was dreaming the entire time.
'Upon further inspection of that Ludacris video, he left out a whole part where you can see him with no abs looool' the user observed.
Trolling: Some observers compared the cartoonish abs to dinner rolls
Unrealistic: The digital body was likened to a video game
Lost in translation: Ludacris claimed the CGI was intended to be a joke and not meant to dupe fans
The rapper explained to TMZ that the abs were 'supposed to be' false-looking.
On Twitter, he retweeted a fan who highlighted the obvious joke: 'he's supposed to have CGI & he looks at them at the end of the video & sees em gone. It's intentional.' Ludacris responded: 'It's OK they slow.'
In previous music videos, Ludacris has incorporated similar over-the-top graphics.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show, The Fate Of The Furious actor admitted that he's in awe of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson's bodybuilder physiques, but he's not willing to be as disciplined as his co-stars.

Prescribing laughs: The rapper-entertainer is trying to explain the story's narrative that was lost on its viewers
'I'm representing the four-pack, because I still have - I still drink a little alcohol here and there, you know what I mean? So, I haven't given all the weight up on, you know, the vices that I have,' he said to the comedienne.
'These guys have had decades of a head start on me,' he pointed out.
'I'm, like, the smallest guy on set, so I'm just - I'm trying to work my way up to get to that level, but it's not quite working out the way that I, you know, want it to.'
