Not so anarchic now! Charlie Hunnam smartens up in a buttoned shirt for lunch with his love Morgana McNelis

He recently admitted to developing something of a 'man-crush' on sportsman David Beckham.

But Charlie Hunnam showed there's only one woman in his heart - his long-term girlfriend Morgana McNelis, as they stepped out together on Sunday.

The 37-year-old actor looked relaxed, as the couple of 12 years were spotted heading for lunch in Hollywood.

The handsome Sons of Anarchy star smartened up for the occasion in a button down blue shirt.

He covered his eyes with dark glasses and had navy blue NuBalance sneakers on his feet.

Jewellery designer Morgana looked to be staving off a chill in the air, as she added a camel coat and black scarf to her ensemble.

The actor admitted recently that when he worked with David Beckham on the upcoming Guy Ritchie-directed King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, he went from a general feeling of indifference to developing a 'bit of a crush' on the sportsman.

Charlie, who plays the titular character in the film, told MR PORTER of their time on the set: 'David Beckham asked me my opinion a few times on different bits and bobs. I don’t know if it was any help or not, but I was really blown away.

'It became very clear why and how Beckham’s become the phenomenon that he has. Because he showed up determined to do a good job. He’d worked with a dialect coach, and maybe an acting coach.

'I sort of anticipated, well, he’s a superstar. This is not his primary or even his secondary focus; this is just a bit of a giggle for him. But that work ethic just shone through.

'And that, combined with him just being humble and kind and accessible, was very endearing. I’m not a football man, so upfront, I didn’t really have a strong feeling one or way or another. But by the time he left, I had a little bit of a crush on him. He was pretty f***ing cool.'

He revealed recently that he went to lengths to get into character for his latest movie.

As he prepared for his role as soldier-turned-adventurer Lieutenant Colonel Percy Fawcett in The Lost City Of Z, he explained that he cut off everybody socially.

The screen hunk, who is in longterm relationship with jewellery designer Morgana McNeils, told MrPorter: 'I decided to create a situation where I felt real loneliness, and the weight of that sacrifice emotionally.

'So I cut everybody out of my life for the entirety of the four-month shoot. Switched my phone off. Had no email.

'Didn’t go on the internet once. Didn’t watch a movie. Didn’t make a phone call for four months.'

Based on author David Grann's 2009 book The Lost City Of Z: A Tale Of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon, the new film recounts enigmatic explorer Fawcett's attempts to find an indigenous city in the wild, remote and largely unchartered South American jungle.

Fawcett and his son would eventually vanish without trace in 1925, never to find their city.
