Oscar misses TWO penalties as £52m former Chelsea star fails to rescue big-spending Shanghai SIPG from defeat

Former Chelsea star Oscar endured a day to forget as he missed two penalties for Shanghai SIPG.
Having signed for Andre Villas Boas' men for £52million, the pressure has been on the Brazilian to perform but his attempts from the spot were in vain.
Shanghai were playing Urawa Red Diamonds in the Asian Champions League and went a goal down.

Oscar was fouled in the box during the second half but saw his resulting penalty heroically tipped onto the bar.
He was given the chance to make amends as the referee once more pointed to the spot after a handball.
Oscar's second attempt was even worse as he blazed the ball high over the bar to his dismay.

There were contrasting fortunes for his old Chelsea team-mate Ramires who found himself on the winning side.
His Brazilian compatriot will be progressing to the knockout stages of the competition following the 1-0 triumph but Shanghai are still in a strong position.
After the game Villas Boas lamented Oscar's bad luck but was still optimistic of advancing.
He said: 'In our next match against FC Seoul we will try to gain the points and nail down qualification.
