'The sex is not important!': Stacey Solomon SLAMS pregnant Danielle Lloyd for revealing she's considering gender selection for her next baby

Stacey Solomon has made a dig at Danielle Lloyd for revealing she's considering gender selection for her next baby.

Speaking on Thursday's Loose Women, the 27-year-old singer - who has two sons - claimed that the sex of a baby is not important as long as it's healthy.

She made the comments just days after the pregnant model appeared on the show and discovered live on air that she is expecting her fourth son.

Speaking about the controversial practise of sex selection, Stacey reasoned: 'I feel funny about genetically modifying a baby.

'I would think about it to prevent illness instead of doing it for girls or boys - that’s not important - it could be done for health reasons.'

Her comments were echoed by show guest Gino D'Acampo who claimed: 'I wouldn’t do it, it’s like playing with nature.'

Keep it short and sweet in Stacey's Zara playsuit

With warmer weather on the way (we hope!) it's time to start thinking about swapping your trusty old jumpsuit for a playsuit.

It might take a bit of fake tan to get your pins ready for summer, but after that the all-in-one world is your oyster. And the pretty blue playsuit Stacey Solomon wore on today's Loose Women is a good place to start!

It's from none other than Zara and we love the long sleeves and belted waist. It's the ideal alternative to your favourite old black dress for a night out, but would work perfectly with sandals for a day of sightseeing on holiday too.

Click (right) to buy it now. A whole outfit for just under £30? You can't argue with that!

He added: 'There are lots of children who need adopting, that’s what needs focusing on, not playing God.'

Paddy McGuinness was also uneasy, stating: 'Ethically I don’t agree with it but I can see both sides of the argument.'

On Friday, Danielle - who shares three sons with ex-husband Jamie O'Hara - had a scan live on Loose Women and discovered she would be expecting another baby boy, this time with fiance Michael O'Neill.

The CBB star previously admitted that she was desperate for a daughter, and after Michael echoed her thoughts, she revealed they were looking into gender selection so that they could have another child and guarantee it would be a girl.

She told Closer magazine: 'It's always been my dream to have a girl but I'd be fine with the four boys. Michael wants another baby, but I wouldn't risk another boy.

'He's looked at gender selection, so we could do that.

'I was shocked when I first learned I was having a son Michael was scared I was going to be disappointed but I've come to terms with the fact I'm having a boy.'
