They've stood by each other ever since they met on set for their hit late 90's show, Dawson's Creek.

And Hollywood BFFs Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams proved their long-lasting friendship is not going anywhere as they posted a precious snap to Instagram.

The 37-year-old actress shared a make-up free selfie of her and her 36-year-old partner-in-crime as the two looked flawless.

In a touching caption, the Cougar Town alum wrote: 'No makeup no filters! That's how we roll! I'm sad we don't get to live in the same place but yesterday was a perfect day together and just what I needed for my soul and that's what best friends are for, right?'

She continued: 'To show up when you need them most and remind you of who you are and why you are and that no matter what, it's all ok cause you will always have each other.'

The blonde beauties looked effortlessly fabulous as Busy donned a distressed denim jacket and striped top while Michelle opted for a patterned dress and cardigan.

Busy also shared other moments from their fun hangout as the two visited LA's hottest museum, The Broad, and chilled out together over some glasses of wine with Busy's husband, Marc Silverstein.

Recently, Busy opened up to U.S. Weekly about how her special friendship with Michelle began: 'box wine.'

Adding: 'From sharing cheap wine, to Michelle's well-deserved fourth Oscar nomination, to all the personal work that we've put in to be the women that we are today... it's just great to have somebody that can be your touchstone for reality.'

And for the mom-of-one - who shared a child with the late Heath Ledger - it's safe to say she feels no different as she once told People Magazine of her best friend: 'I’m so in love with her. She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That’s the love of my life right there.'

Meanwhile, the mom-of-two would have certainly liked to have her best friend by her side as she recently encountered a frightening experience with her husband in an Uber. 

While Michelle was in Paris for a Louis Vuitton party, Busy shared her thrilling story on Instagram of how an unexpected man popped up in the back seat of their ride.

Telling her followers: 'I said to my husband, "Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he’s not going to kill us?" And then from the f— way back, a voice is like, "I promise that won’t happen" and there was just like a f— crazy, scary dude in way back of this Uber.

She continued: 'Basically I was like, "I will not be killed tonight!" and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I was like, "This is not happening. I will not be killed tonight."'
