'But we went there and what's good about it is whenever you're with one someone who’s a mate to start with, you don’t have to go through all that awkward dating.
'You just crack on!'
Patrick married the So You Think You Can Dance presenter in an intimate ceremony in Rome in September 2012 after 11 months of dating.
The couple are now proud parents to adorable son Milo, 15 months, who they welcomed into the world in January 2016.

Friends first: Patrick and Cat first met when they were co-presenters on BBC's Fame Academy in 2003
The father-of-one opened up about family life in the couple's Los Angeles home.
'Milo basically runs the house,' he admitted of his one-year-old son.
And the tot has already acquired a Hollywood nickname.
Patrick joked: 'We call him the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air because he gets whatever he wants.
'You suddenly realise when you get married, you're number one. Then a kid [comes along] and you're number two, then a dog you're number three, and you spend your life going down the pecking order.'
The TV presenter said that life in LA took some getting used to for him.
The Hollywood life: The comedian admitted that he stood out in Hollywood because he preferred Guinness to green juice
New pecking order: Patrick joked that he was now number three in the family household, after his son Milo and his pet dog
He told Lorraine: 'America is good. I'm not really a green juice man, I like a Guinness. If you have more than three drinks in LA they think you're a raging alcoholic.
'They say we really need to talk about your drinking.'
Patrick joked that he even accepted work so he could have a little relief from family life on the flight over, saying: 'What I do now we have a small child, I pretend I have work so I can be on a long haul flight on my own.
'Long haul flight with four gin and tonics, a Disney film and a cry.'
The Debatable presenter announced that he would embark on a stand up tour.
Patrick said: 'I am going to do more stand up, a stand up tour next year. There's plenty between babies and Donald Trump to talk about.'
