I will always spoof you! Samuel L Jackson and Ryan Reynolds recreate Whitney Houston's 1992 movie poster
It's an iconic Hollywood image - Whitney Houston, cradled in the arms of her bodyguard Kevin Costner.
So fans were quick to spot the resemblance when Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson spoofed the 1992 The Bodyguard poster for their new film The Hitman's Bodyguard.
Reynolds is seen carrying Jackson in the same way, against a purple hued rainy background.

Spot-on: The newly-released movie poster for The Hitman's Bodyguard is a perfect spoof of the 1992 movie art for The Bodyguard
The spoof image follows the equally cheeky trailer, which debuted on Thursday, featuring Houston's 1992 chart-topper I Will Always Love You.
In the profanity-laden first glimpse of the film, Ryan plays a bodyguard for the most wanted hit man in the world, played by Jackson.
The movie will hit U.S. theaters on August 18, 2017.
Fans also noted that the new movie poster bore a striking similarity to a photo Ryan took with his wife Blake Lively as they vacationed with then-couple Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston.
Hold me: Fans were quick to note that Ryan struck a similar pose with wife Blake Lively in this vacation snap with Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston in 2016
A more traditional poster for the movie was also released by Summit Entertainment on Friday.
Salma Hayek plays the role of Samuel's equally-notorious wife in the film.
The cast was seen filming throughout Amsterdam last summer.
