Chloe Sims has been inadvertently swept up in the endless drama circulating around warring TOWIE couple Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks thanks to an innocent photograph that was taken of her with Pete, and subsequent comments she has made in support of him.

And thanks to this, obsessive fans of the ITVBe reality series have taken it upon themselves to troll her on social media and give them a piece of their over-involved minds.

But the veteran TOWIE star has not stood for it, unashamedly blocking anyone who gives her aggro on Twitter and Instagram and  warning those that have taken it a little too personally to stay away from her.

'I'm no one's scapegoat!' TOWIE's Chloe Sims warned trolls to back off after receiving hate online about her involvement in Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks' dramatic split

Issuing a lengthy warning statement online on Friday, Chloe headed her latest post with the caption 'I don't know how to put this nicely. So I won't!'

Beneath this, she cautioned trolls to keep off her back lest they be blocked, enforcing that she isn't interested in Pete romantically and that there's a lot of behind the scenes facts that viewers of the show don't know about.

'Don't come for me on my page unless you want to be blocked!' came the first ominous warning.

She continued: 'Been receiving a lot of uncalled for HATE from TOWIE fans getting a little bit caught up in a TV show.

'FYI I don't choose the subjects that I have to give opinions on, it's my job to give my opinion on what is being covered on TOWIE, there's also a LOT that happens behind the scenes that is not suitable for the show that I'm reacting too also!

'So before you decide to send me abuse bare in mind that it's not always as it seems!'

She went on: 'If I feel strongly about something I will always have a good reason for that. As far as @p_wicks01 goes he's one of my best friends and a work colleague and that's where it ends! I have no romantic interest in him.

'We all defend our friends in hard times; that's human nature! It's extremely disappointing that certain people have tried to make it look like anything more, when all involved know full well we're just friends!

On Wednesday evening's episode Chloe had not been backwards in coming forwards about Megan.

'She likes being the victim. She's not nasty, but she likes being the victim,' Chloe said to Pete and Mario Falcone.

'She's got an attitude and it's really f**ked me off! She has dragged me into that messy s**t. I think she's an attention seeker.

'She thinks everyone's Team Pete. Well, yeah, I am. Bottom line!'

Chloe continued to slam Megan later in the episode, saying to a downtrodden-looking Pete: 'You brought her in to your group of friends and we don't like the way she is treating you.'

She then added, after he left: 'He can't even string a sentence together because he's so broken!'

Teary: The curtains were surely twitching as the couple screamed at one another about the drama going on between them

Slanging match: The altercation took place on Wednesday night's edition of TOWIE, and saw the pair bump into each other on a residential street

This came after Megan and Pete had accosted each other on a random Essex street earlier in the programme.

'I was upset that she said I was an attention seeker,' Megan said to Pete about Chloe. 'I think I dealt with it well!' 

Megan's fury was mostly aimed at her and Pete's mutual friends, who have involved themselves in the drama. 

'I am telling everyone to not talk about it, or you, and not to slag you off. I'm the one who said [you hadn't done anything wrong],' Pete explained.

'Yeah, you were an angel!' Megan spat back, sarcastically before adding: 'I didn't cheat on you!'

At this point, Pete began sucking on his upper lips, before exclaiming: 'This is f**king b******s!'

Taking umbrage with the expression on Pete's face, Megan then said: 'Why are you giving me that look? I took you back. Every night I used to cook you dinner!'

'Yeah, but you never forgave me!' Pete fought back, referring to his previous indiscretions, namely a sexting scandal.

'I f**king did!' Megan screeched. 'But then you were miserable. This is f**king bulls**t giving me this f**king act. I can't be a***d!'

At this point, Pete was close to tears, lips trembling. Megan stormed off, he followed her but she objected to this by yelling: 'I don't believe it, it's fake, you're fake!'

It's claimed 'all hell broke loose' when the couple came to blows on the street while shooting the scenes recently, with Megan collapsing into tears before launching herself at her on-off boyfriend.

Snapshots were unveiled of producers having to restrain Megan, stepping between her and Pete as things appeared to be on the road to getting physical.

However, viewers only got to see edited segments of the confrontation on Wednesday night, when the pair battled it out over their ill-fated romance.
