Makeup-free Amy Adams looks relaxed in casual chic as she enjoys day out with husband and daughter

She recently ran the gamut of the hectic Hollywood awards season.

But Amy Adams slowed down to enjoy the time off with her family as they stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 42-year-old actress cut a relaxed figure as she was seen in casual gear while out and about with husband Darren Le Gallo and six-year-old daughter Aviana.

The Arrival actress - sporting a pink Fashionable 'Mamuye' leather tote - let the tension of show business go as she donned a super comfy grey button down.

Her blue denim pants tightly hugged her legs but were roomy enough for the daytime jaunt.

She kept her ginger locks pulled back in a ponytail and hid her make-up free face behind large retro style shades.

The epitome of casual, strap sandals kept her feet cool in the hot California sun.

Her artist husband, 42, also kept it casual in a monochromatic theme.

Darren sported a grey T-shirt, grey pants, and grey sneakers.

Amy only has one movie lined up this years so far, but it's a big one: she reprises her role as Lois Lane in the first Justice League film.

On the small screen she is also taking on the lead role in HBO's upcoming series Sharp Objects, based on the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn.

In it she plays a reporter recently discharged from a psych hospital, who returns to her hometown to try solve the murder of two young girls.
