And Nigella Lawson looked flawless as she headed to a beauty salon in central London on Saturday. 

The English TV chef, 57, appeared in good spirits as she made her way there with a female friend.

The raven-haired beauty showed off her flawless skin and enviable bone structure going make-up free.

Covering up her toned curves, she layered an all-black ensemble with an overcoat, and completed it with flat sandals.

Carrying a rucksack and sunglasses, she chatted easily with her pal as she headed to the salon.

Despite her natural beauty, when posing for the cover of British Vogue's April 2014 issue, she admitted being ‘terrified’ of being pictured without make-up.

‘I hate having my looks talked up,’ she added. ‘It always makes me feel I’m going to be a disappointment in the flesh.’

She told The Telegraph in 2012: ‘I remember Elizabeth Hurley once said, “It’s either the cookie jar or the size six jeans”. 

'Well, fair enough. She would rather the size six jeans, I would rather the cookie jar.

‘In the end, you make that choice. If wearing certain clothes matters most to you, then that is going to be your priority, whereas I could probably do that for two days but my real priority is eating.’

In 2015, she told Good Housekeeping that yoga was helping her to get in ‘better shape’.

‘I have never been on a diet to try to lose weight,’ she said. ‘I feel like I haven’t lost weight, but I’m possibly in better shape. I am doing a rather slow form of yoga now called iyengar.’

She added: ‘No one should be put on this earth to go on a diet! No one should eat themselves ill either.’
