Fox News and Bill O'Reilly are reportedly in exit negotiations with a final decision on the popular host's future with the network expected by the end of the week. A well-placed source tells CNN Money that reps for the host and the cable news leader are currently in discussions ahead of a 21st Century Fox board meeting later this week on Thursday. O'Reilly is expected to be the primary topic of discussion among the board members of the network's parent company at that meeting. Earlier on Tuesday, three sources told New York reporter Gabriel Sherman that Rupert Murdoch may not have O'Reilly return to the network after he comes back from his vacation in a week. O'reilly's lawyer said in a statement: 'Bill O'Reilly has been subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination that is unprecedented in post-McCarthyist America' and said the law firm has evidence he was the subject of a 'smear campaign'.

A man who shot and killed three people on the streets of downtown Fresno on Tuesday was trying to murder as many white people as he could, authorities said. Kori Ali Muhammad, 39, shouted 'Allahu Akhbar,' meaning 'God is great,' in Arabic while being apprehended shortly after the shootings. He later told police that he hates white people. His victims were all Caucasian males apparently chosen at random. Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer called the acts 'unprovoked' and 'solely based on race'. They are investigating the incident as a hate crime. Dyer added that the killings had 'nothing to do with terrorism in spite of the statement he made.' He is also wanted in connection with another killing days earlier, in which a white security guard was gunned down at a Fresno motel after responding to a disturbance.

Prosecutors in Massachusetts moved Tuesday to dismiss almost 24,000 cases of drug convictions tainted by Annie Dookham, a former state drug lab chemist who admitting to falsifying results to bump up her productivity and reputation. She served three years in prison and was paroled last year. This makes it the single largest dismissal of criminal convictions in U.S. history, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. Renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed the 1960 Usonia home in St. Louis Park outside Minneapolis that hit the market at $1.4million and includes original custom designed furnishings and fixtures. The plea agreement means Cuberon co-founder Abhishek Gattani, 38, will have his felony assault charge reduced to avoid the risk of him being deported back to his native India. His estranged wife Neha Rastogi, 36, read a harrowing victim impact statement during Gattani's scheduled sentencing last week at the Santa Clara Supreme Court urging the judge, who is currently on vacation, to rethink the punishment. Rastogi, who used to work at Apple helping to develop products like iPhones, started secretly recording the abuse on May 17, 2016.

After two days on the run, Facebook killer Steve Stephens' reign of terror came to an end on Tuesday morning - thanks to the bravery of two McDonald's employees. The workers, who haven't yet been identified, spotted Stephens (pictured left) as he pulled into their drive-thru (top-right) on Buffalo Road in Erie, Pennsylvania, at around 11am. Recognizing him as the man who shot dead Robert Godwin, 74, on Sunday, they delayed him long enough for police to arrive and give chase - leading to Stephens' death by suicide (Stephens' car pictured bottom-right). Now - if the police have their say - the workers will be splitting a $50,000 reward, TMZ reported.

Chanel Lewis (left), 20, on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and a dozen other counts in the deadly August 2 attack on 30-year-old Queens jogger Karina Vetrano (right). The victim's mother, Catherine Vetrano (center inset), showed no visible emotion in court, while Lewis' mother, Veta (bottom left inset), proclaimed her son's innocence and accused police of framing him.

Angelo Colon-Ortiz, 31, a recent transplant from Puerto Rico, pleaded not guilty through his lawyer to charges of assault in the killing of Vanessa Marcotte in Massachusetts last August. The suspect, a US citizen who had only recently moved from his native Puerto Rico to Worcester, Massachusetts, was led into Leominster District Court on Tuesday morning and used the services of a Spanish-English interpreter to follow the proceedings.

Colour photographs in a new book from Britain's Imperial War Museums vividly bring to life moments from WW2 including the Women's Auxiliary Air Force preparing parachutes for use during the invasion of Europe. There are also images of General Dwight D Eisenhower and his senior commanders at Supreme Allied Headquarters in London in February 1944 and Winston Churchill and his chiefs of staff in the garden at Downing Street in May 1945. They reveal life on the Home Front, with pictures of bombed out buildings, evacuee children and wounded airmen in their hospital blues alongside factories and female plane spotters. Images portray the fighting fronts, with rare photography of flamethrower tanks in action, Mustangs and Spitfires in flight and the RAF's top-scoring fighter pilot, Wing Commander 'Johnnie' Johnson, with his pet dog Sally.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has been called 'Pocahontas' by President Donald Trump, but that's not nearly as bad as her favorite curse word - 'poop.' In an interview Sunday with CBS, Warren revealed that 'poop' was her favorite curse word - although she rejects the argument that it isn't that bad of a slur. 'Have you ever seen a woman like me look you straight in the face after you've finished some long explanation of something and then just said poop?' Warren said on Tuesday that she has no plans to challenge Trump for the White House in 2020.

The Navy on April 8 said it was directing a naval strike group headed by the USS Carl Vinson supercarrier to 'sail north' as a 'prudent measure' to deter North Korea. Secretary of Defense James Mattis on April 11 said the Vinson was 'on her way up' to the peninsula. President Donald Trump the next day said on the Fox Business Network that 'we are sending an armada. Very powerful.' But a Defense Department official on Tuesday said the ships remained off the northwest coast of Australia. The rest of the armada is not at hand either - the USS Nimitz is off the coast of Oregon; and the USS Ronald Reagan is in port in Japan.

A Facebook page for a closed down RadioShack in Ohio has become a viral sensation. In mid-March the company announced that its Reynoldsburg, Ohio store would one of the 552 stores to shut down. Atypical statuses started to be posted on a Facebook page claiming to be associated with that closed store. 'We closed. F*** all of you,' someone posted on the Reynoldsburg RadioShack Facebook page soon after midnight, early Tuesday morning.

The presentation includes detailed slides making a well-reasoned argument for why Carter should date her. An 18-year-old Florida woman wanted for arrest posted a Facebook Live video of herself (left) patronizing a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant - enabling the police to track her down. Markesha Wilkerson (inset) had evaded arrest even though she had warrants for a number of alleged violations. But Polk County Sheriff's deputies noticed that she had posted a video of herself on Facebook visiting a Chuck E. Cheese in Lakeland, Florida. In the video, Wilkerson is seen laughing and playing alongside the Chuck E. Cheese mascot (right). The deputies notified Lakeland police, who dispatched officers to the restaurant to arrest Wilkerson.

Right-wing radio host Alex Jones had a gastronomic catastrophe when giving a deposition ahead of his custody battle with his ex-wife, a court heard Tuesday. His ex-wife, Kelly Jones, wants custody of their three kids, aged 9-14. They have lived with the Infowars boss in Austin, Texas, since the couple divorced in 2015. Things took an awkward turn on the first day of the trial when her lawyer claimed Jones (pictured left entering court on Monday) had forgotten 'basic facts' about his kids during a deposition because 'he had a big bowl of chili for lunch,' Austin 360 reported. Kelly Jones' lawyers also claimed that Jones was turning their 14-year-old son Rex (inset) against her, and played a video (right) in which Jones stripped down to his shorts, claiming that he also disrobes in therapy sessions.

When a Chinese owner asked her two pet dogs who had made a mess on the kitchen floor, her Samoyed was quick to point its paw at its Golden Retriever friend. As the owner repeated her question, the white dog again blamed its canine companion for having shredded paper to small pieces and left them on the floor.

Two WWE stars literally put the smack-down on the wrestling ring after coming face-to-face for an epic battle on Monday Night Raw. The wrestling ring gave out and imploded during a match between the Big Show (inset right) and Braun Strowman (inset left). Strowman had the Big Show on the top rope and successfully delivered a suplex that caused the two stars to come crashing down onto the ring causing it to give out completely.

Pretty Asa English, 26, from Sweden but now living in Sheffield, is barely recognisable after losing four stone in weight. The fitness blogger said her lowest point came when she weighed in at 11 stone and her granny told her she was 'too big'. It was reported that she had split from NBA star Carmelo Anthony after seven years of marriage. And as controversial new claims have emerged, La La Anthony was spotted without her wedding ring. The 37-year-old television personality was spotted for the first time since the explosive news while out in New York City on Tuesday morning. She looked fantastic in a striped number but the most notable thing about her outfit was what was actually missing: her wedding band.

The Museum of Failure, in Helsingborg, Sweden, is honouring creativity by showcasing 50 items that prove if at first you don't succeed, try something else, like Colgate's beef lasagne. The museum is moving to a permanent space after a month as a temporary exhibition, run by collector Samuel West. He has collected an array of items that did not work, from flavoured fizzy drinks to phones that did not catch on, and even the President's attempt at a board game. A US serviceman who had his leg blown off in Afghanistan carried a woman over the finish line at the Boston Marathon on Monday (left and top right). Wounded warrior Earl Granville hauled his guide across the finish line as she held aloft an American flag. According to Granville's bio, he served for nine years with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as an infantryman (inset). While in service, he was sent to Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In the summer of 2008, Granville and his unit were on patrol in Zormat, Afghanistan, when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb (bottom right).

The American fashion house unveiled the ads online Tuesday and revealed a star-studded cast including 73-year-old Lauren Hutton (bottom left), 41-year-old Rashida Jones (upper left), 34-year-old Kristen Dunst (upper right) and Maya Hawke (bottom right), the 18-year-old daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. Andrey Melnichenko, his wife Aleksandra and their child were seen on a spring vacation on the Italian Riviera coastline of Portofino having stepped off his luxury 390ft 'Motor Yacht A' (main and right). They were using the vessel despite Mr Melnichenko having only recently upgraded to one of the largest private sailing yachts in the world - the £360 million 'Sailing Yacht A'. Mr Melnichenko, who has an estimated net worth of $13.4 billion (£10.8 billion), is said to favour using the letter 'A' so that his vessels are listed first in shipping registers. Some adorable and hungry deer paid a visit to a man and his family. 'Hello!' the man said as he opened his door to some very curious deer. In the video, three deer can be seen perched on the man's doorstep waiting for food. One doe excitedly stepped up to the man and reached out for a piece of bread. The man broke off several pieces of the bread and gave it to the doe. At one point, the deer even stepped inside the man's home as he held a piece of bread in the air. It's unclear when and where the cute moment took place.

A mom named Patricia from Houston shared photos of her seven-ytear-old daughter Daisy on Twitter, where they've gone viral. Daisy suffers from Achondroplasia, a form of Dwarfism, and was granted a wish to visit Disney World by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She went to Epcot dressed as Belle, and met a Disney employee dressed as Belle there, who made her visit extra special with one-on-one time.

Drivers were left speechless on Saturday night when they spotted the big cats crossing the Pipavav-Rajula highway in Amreli, a district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Once they appear on the highway from the nearby Gir Forest National Park, the world's only natural habitat for Asiatic lions, the big cats patiently wait on the highway for the vehicles to pass by. The Asiatic lion census in 2015 revealed that there are only a few hundreds left in the wild. They are slightly smaller than African lions and unlike African lions, the males do not tend to live with the females of their pride unless they are mating or have a large kill.
