Josh Brolin began pre-production for the highly-anticipated Deadpool sequel on Tuesday with a grueling face cast by Oscar-winning make-up artist Bill Corso.

The 49-year-old Oscar nominee takes on his second Marvel Comics character as the mutant Nathan Summers/Cable, who has a bionic arm and eyeball.

'You know, just meditating,' the Hail, Caesar! star joked to his 59K Instagram followers.
