Carmelo Anthony 'slept with dancer who is now PREGNANT with his baby'... as it is revealed he has split with wife La La after seven years

Carmelo Anthony got another woman pregnant prior to his split from his wife of seven years La La, it has been claimed.

The basketball star, 32, is alleged to have slept with a dancer who works at a gentlemen's club in New York, who now says she is six and a half months pregnant.

It comes as it was revealed on Monday that Carmelo and his actress wife La La, 37, had gone their separate ways.

TMZ has reported 'multiple sources' saying that the dancer is pregnant with Carmelo's baby and that she expects him to pay for her medical expenses and other costs. 

It has also been claimed that Carmelo and La La's relationship has been on the rocks for a while, according to the site.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Carmelo for comment.

A source had told TMZ on Monday that the couple, who have 10-year-old son Kiyan, are now 'living separately'. 

'La La moved out of the family home last week and has her own place in NYC now,' the source said.

The split was put down to Carmelo being stressed over the possibility of being traded by the New York Knicks.

Speaking about her marriage last year, La La - who is close friends with Kim Kardashian - told Access Hollywood they had their 'up and downs'. 

She said: 'If anyone says in 10 years you don’t go through ups and downs, they’re lying to you. We’re in a real relationship. 

'We have our ups and we have our downs, but we definitely work through them, and we’re great right now.' 

The couple began dating in 2004 and got married in 2010, with the ceremony shown on their reality series La La's Full Court Wedding.
