Delta is the latest airline to come under fire after video emerged of a passenger being told he had to get off a plane because he used the bathroom during a tarmac delay. Kima Hamilton, a 39-year-old 'DJ and poet' was due to travel on Delta Airlines Flight 2035 from Atlanta to Milwaukee on April 18. During a delay of about 30 minutes, according to passengers aboard, the DJ got up to use the bathroom. After he did, the captain announced the plane would be delayed further until Hamilton was removed. Two different officials (left and right) were then seen on video telling him he needed to get off. Ultimately, the plane went back to the gate and everyone had to disembark, before the plane took off later - without Hamilton aboard.

Delaware trooper shot outside a Wawa is identified

Delaware state trooper Stephen J. Ballard (right) shot outside a Wawa convenience store (center inset) in the town of Bear on Wednesday. Police say still haven't determined motive for shooting. The trooper was rushed to hospital moments later and was pronounced dead. Officers tracked gunman Burgon Sealy Jr (left) to his home in Middletown, 15 miles from shooting. The 26-year-old has refused to leave his home and fired shots at officers outside.

North Korea's large-scale military parades and weapons displays are intended for propaganda purposes since the arms carried by the troops are largely fake, according to a US military expert. A former US Army intelligence officer who was asked to look at photographs from an April 15 military parade in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang. The former officer, Michael Pregent, said he believes that many of the arms flaunted by menacing-looking North Korean troops (like the RPGs seen above) during the parade are dummies. Even the sunglasses worn by the 'commandos' (inset) aren't combat-ready, according to Pregent.

Eric Lafforgue's photos show North Koreans' daily life

French photographer Eric Lafforgue captured the stunning images in 2008 before North Korean officials banned him from travelling to the secretive state. They show female military officials (left), children at an orphanage and citizens gathering at statues of the state's 'Dear Leaders' (top right). The grainy images also show a newly-wed couple posing for portraits (bottom right) in front of North Korean landmarks while another shows a young woman standing beneath pictures of the country's dictators (inset). Lafforgue, 52, said he took the photos in a time before North Koreans had access to smart phones - and found that the Polaroids helped to break the ice with locals.

Horrified viewers who were watching at the time then notified the police. It is the latest in a string of horrifying acts that have been filmed and streamed live social media. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office said they received a call from a woman who was concerned that Jeffrey had stopped responding to her phone calls. Jeffrey and the woman were reportedly in the process of breaking up. The sheriff's office said that Jeffrey's suicide was viewed over 1,000 times before it was finally removed from Facebook two hours later. 

Ohio State quarterback and top NFL pick Gareon Conley has been accused of rape by a woman one day before the NFL draft. The Buckeyes player allegedly assaulted a woman on April 9.

Police say a man beat an 86-year-old woman to death in an apparently random attack as she walked around a high school track in Northern California.

Canadian mom shares photo of son after opioids overdose

A grieving mother is using the heartbreak of her son dying from an accidental overdose to warn people about the danger of opioids. Sherri Kent, from Calgary, Canada, shared a picture of her holding her dying 22-year-old son - Michael - laying in a hospital bed. Michael is seen in the harrowing photo (top) with a tube in his mouth and he appears to be unconscious. Kent (bottom with her son) is holding the 22-year-old's hand. 'I just want everyone to know that my son Michael overdosed on Fentanyl,' she wrote on Facebook. 'My son was not an addict he made a mistake that cost him his life. I just want to make everyone aware of the epidemic that's goin (sic) on right now.'

Angel Sanchez, 37, is accused of attacking the woman while taking her home from a work party in Newport Beach, California, after her friends hailed the ride because she was intoxicated.

Huge iceberg leaves Canada shore - but two more are coming

After a week looming over the tiny Canadian town of Ferryland, the 150-foot iceberg that has captivated the region appears to be moving away.  The iceberg, which is believed to be 50 feet higher than the one that struck the Titanic, made waves across Canada and the US when it appeared off the coast of Newfoundland last week, attracting tourists to the area. The vast wall of ice is now moving away from the coastline thanks to the sea's currents - but tourists need not feel two put out, the town's mayor told CP 24, as two more icebergs now appear to be inbound.
