Backlash! Katy Perry's fans voice their anger over her new single Bon Appetit which features 'homophobic' rap group Migos

Katy Perry is getting raked over the coals again for another misstep.

As soon as the cover art for the track was released on Wednesday, many of her 97 million followers expressed their anger because the rappers have made homophobic and misogynistic comments in the past.

Perry should be more careful, cautioned fans, because she has accepted an award at the Human Rights Campaign gala in March so she should know better.

Katy was also criticized for not letting Ariana Grande sing with her on Bon Appetit.

The Grammy winner hit back: 'LOVE ARI. We tight. That has always been fake news baby. Live and learn.'

On a brighter note, Perry is set to close out the highly watched 42nd season of Saturday Night Live as musical guest. The NBC comedy show announced Wednesday that Katy will perform during its May 20 season finale.

It was previously announced that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, 44, would host the season finale.
