High end retail therapy! Dakota Johnson and a gal pal hit up Ralph Lauren on ritzy Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills shopping spree

She wrapped filming on the erotic Fifty Shades trilogy in February.

And Dakota Johnson appeared to be enjoying some well deserved time off on Tuesday after shooting the second and third movies, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, back to back.

It seems the 27-year-old had some high-end retail therapy in mind when she was spotted leaving her car with a valet at the Ralph Lauren store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The actress was with a gal pal who was holding a black bag from nearby Barney's New York, so the pair may have hit that store earlier.

Dakota, the daughter of Working Girl Melanie Griffith and Miami Vice star Don Johnson, looked casually chic in a black edge-to-edge coat buttoned at the round, collarless neckline.

It gaped open to reveal the beautiful brunette's white blouse and white jeans that were frayed at the ankles.

She walked across the parking lot in black slides while her friend, rather strangely, seemed to be wearing furry bedroom slippers.

The blonde also wore a black twinset and beige pants as carried a large book under one arm.

Fifty Shades Of Grey, released in 2015, was Dakota's first starring role.

And it was a brave choice given the risque nature of the story in which she plays Anastasia Steele the naive young object of bondage-obsessed billionaire Christian, played by Jamie Dornan.

Based on E.L. James' erotic bestsellers, their story continued in Fifty Shades Darker, released on February 10 this year.

And it will reach its climax with Fifty Shades Freed, due out on February 9, 2018.

Meanwhile, Dakota also has Suspira in post-production, co-starring Tilda Swinton and Chloë Grace Moretz.

She stars as a young dancer who travels to Berlin to train with a prestigious troupe that harbors a dark secret in the fantasy horror story that has yet to set a release date.

And Dakota is set to play the singer of a heavy metal band in the recently announced Sound Of Metal
