It was a very happy birthday indeed for Channing Tatum, who celebrated his 37th birthday on Wednesday.

The Magic Mike hunk marked the occasion with a day at a bowling alley in Studio City in LA. 

Joining the star was his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, daughter Everly, and friends of the couple, including celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin and actress Emmanuelle Chriqui.

At one stage, the 41-year-old Entourage star broke away from the group to step outside for a sneaky cigarette. 

Dressed casually in a pair of baggy black sweatpants and a white T-shirt from Richer Poorer, Channing appeared to have been having the time of his life as he partied with his loved ones.

The 21 Jump Street actor could be seen laughing with friends and offering up high-fives.

At one stage, he even took to the lanes beside a look-alike friend, who wore a similar outfit to Channing's.

Meanwhile, Jenna, 36, looked chic in a pair of cropped skinny light blue jeans and a white camisole top.

She wore a pair of nude-colored slide-on sandals, and carried a grey leather handbag.

Written in white on top of the blue fondant cake, which had been decorated with M&M candies, were the words: 'I [heart] u daddy I made this cake for you [heart] Evie'.

The couple were all smiles as they left the bowling alley, arms filled with gifts for the heartthrob, including a guitar.

They were also spotted carrying out colorful balloons, including a unicorn balloon, as they loaded up their car and headed home.
