Arkansas police found the body of a missing nine-year-old boy after his mother, little sister and great-uncle were found murdered. The body nine-year-old Reilly Scarbrough was discovered in a heavily wooded area west of Hatfield, Arkansas  on Saturday. His mother Bethany Jo Wester's live-in boyfriend Brian Bliss Travis, 37,  helped find the body and is expected to face capital murder charges in for the boy's death.

At least four people were killed in Texas in a series of tornadoes that left a trail of overturned vehicles, mangled trees and damaged homes. The storms were headed east into Mississippi and Alabama on Sunday.

A student who was kicked out of his university after being accused of sexual assault has spoken out after a court ruled in his favor against the school. Francisco Sousa (left) was 20 years old and studying at San Diego State University on foreign exchange from Portugal when he was accused by his then-girlfriend of sexual assault on December 9, 2004. The 20-year-old was arrested (right) at the time and charged with sexually assaulting and imprisoning a woman near campus. Shortly after the arrest, he was suspended from the school and an email was sent to students warning them that Sousa was a sexual predator - despite an investigation into the allegation not being completed.

This is the notorious Colombian prison where an Australian woman was locked up after she was arrested with 5.8kg of cocaine at a South American airport. Cassandra Sainsbury, 22, (left) was taken to El Buen Pator (bottom right) in Colombia's capital after she was arrested at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota on April 11. Miss Sainsbury, a personal trainer from Adelaide, has been locked up at the overcrowded women's prison since. Incredible photos to emerge from inside the prison show inmates dressed in formal wear, crowns and sashes for the prison's annual beauty pageant (top right). Other photos show women with their babies inside the prison. Reports of deplorable conditions have also been documented, with one woman describing it as 'overcrowded, filthy and with bullet holes in walls'. Miss Sainsbury will remain behind bars until her hearing in two months, according to her family.

Swiss climber Ueli Steck is killed on Mount Everest

Ueli Steck (inset) was killed in a mountaineering accident on Mount Everest in Nepal after slipping and falling 3,280 ft down the mountain, severing his body into bits and pieces on the rough terrain. His body parts (pictured left on a helipad after they were flown to the Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal this afternoon) have been recovered from the site. He was planning to climb 29,035-foot Mount Everest and nearby Mount Lhotse next month. The 40-year-old Steck was one of the most-renowned mountaineers of his generation. He posted on Facebook for the last time on April 26 from Basecamp.

Man sues ex-wife for taking God out of daughter's life

Manuel Asensio, 62, has brought a lawsuit against his ex-wife Emilie Bosak in Manhattan Supreme Court claiming she has stopped their 12-year-old daughter's religious education. Asensio, who is a Bear Stearns financier, claims Bosak took their daughter to St. Barts over Easter without his permission. The suit states that as part of the couple's 2013 divorce settlement, they agreed to inform each other if their daughter was leaving New York and 'consult' one another about her education, religion and health concerns.
