Where did they all Go(mez)? Selena is left the last one sitting with beau The Weeknd as they nearly clear the table mid-meal at Met Gala

They made their adoring red carpet debut just moments before.

And while Selena Gomez and The Weeknd certainly seemed lost in one another, they also appeared to lose the rest of the table as they were photographed among a host of empty chairs at Monday night's Met Gala in NYC.

The 23-year-old former Disney starlet swept the famed steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5th Avenue with her beau shortly before being seated in the gala - where they were left surrounded by empty chairs.

They haven't been shy about their blossoming romance, seen smooching around town since their romance went public in January yet Monday was their most glamorous public display of affection yet, making their red carpet debut in a flurry of steamy kisses - while his ex Bella Hadid was just moments behind them.

At the star-studded New York event, the rapper and singer could barely keep their hands off each other, clearly in their own special world as they both screamed high fashion style in a tuxedo and frothy Coach gown respectively.

The duo looked over the moon to be together, keeping closely linked on the carpet having confirmed their widely-discussed romance earlier this year.

While being watched by the world's press earlier in the night, as they headed into the bash they did not seem to be such a focal point of attention as they instead enjoyed an intense chat with fellow diner Salma Hayek.

The supermodel was sporting a smoky eye and bold diamond cuffs from Bulgari that contrasted beautifully with her bright red nail lacquer.

We couldn't distinguish where her outfit meets her pumps and that may remain a mystery as the two blend seamlessly for this head to toe ensemble.

As this was a custom look, we cannot click to buy, but if you do click to the right, you can shop the current Alexander Wang collection.
