Just three days earlier, she had wowed by matching her newly shaved head to a plunging silver ensemble.

On Monday night, the supermodel made a typically dramatic statement as she painted her bald head silver while arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art at the heart on New York's 5th Avenue for the ever-glam Met Gala.

To complement the bold look, she sported a sensational plunging silver suit by Chanel which perfectly encapsulated Cara's high fashion fancy atop her trademark ability to make a bold style statement on the red carpet.

Adding to her futuristic metallic ensemble was staggering silver stilettos, the perfect accompaniment to her belt and dazzling smattering of jewels extending across her fingers to add further to her A-list glamour.

With such a bold beauty look added through her silver head paint, she kept the rest of her beauty regimen simple with just a lick of mascara opening her almond-shaped eyes while her lips were lightly outlined in a baby pink colour.

Life In A Year sees her play a dying woman.

The movie, penned by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, follows 17-year-old Daryn who learns his girlfriend (Delevigne) is dying and sets out to give her their entire life together, in the year she has left.

Cara will soon be making an appearance in anticipated sci-fi thriller Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets.

The star, who landed her first acting role as Princess Sorokina in 2012 flick Anna Karenina opposite Keira Knightley, will give another role-model making performance as a feisty young fighter in the film.
