'Hi, 13 Reasons Why!' Amy Schumer talks teenage bullying and 'sweaty' Met Gala gown
Amy Schumer candidly recalled her struggles being bullied in school on Tuesday's episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
'Yeah! I had curly bangs,' the 35-year-old Emmy winner deadpanned.
'My mom told me that I looked great and I bought it. I was a late bloomer. My front teeth fell out when I was 11. Going into middle school, I did not have my front teeth. Hi, 13 Reasons Why! Kids are mean. Thank god there was no social media then.'

The 52-year-old host was speechless after Amy's light-hearted reference to the critically-acclaimed Netflix teen suicide series starring Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford.
And not too much has changed for the cherubic-faced comedian, who still gets regularly asked about her figure in interviews.
'Journalists will be like, "So your body, what's the plan?"' Schumer said.
'I'm like, "Look, I am in a bathing suit in this movie. There's like nudity. I feel good about my body." I think other people need to work on how they feel. I'm good. But they talk to me like I need to be buttered to fit through a door. I can walk right through a door.'

Both the Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo author and Colbert attended Monday night's Met Gala, where he was so curious about the fabric of her dress he touched it.
'I may have threatened you to touch it,' Amy joked.
Stylist Leesa Evans put the Women's Marcher in an off-the-shoulder black caped Zac Posen gown, which was likely an ode to her Netflix 'Leather' comedy special, which began streaming March 7.
'I'll tell you what, homegirl was sweating! Why can't we be comfortable at that thing?' the blonde funnywoman asked.

Schumer became 'life friends' with her onscreen mother Goldie Hawn while shooting Snatched, which hits US theaters May 12 and UK theaters May 19.
'We just had the best time, but people worried about her because she's in her 70s,' the Golden Globe nominee said.
'It's an action movie. It's a hard-R comedy action movie, but she's like doing handstands on the set and I'm like sweating so much in between each take. It was like [miming crew member], "10-minute reset on Schumer!"'
The Ecuador-set Jonathan Levine flick - also starring Joan Cusack, Colin Quinn, and Wanda Sykes - marks the 71-year-old Oscar winner's first film since the 2002 comedy The Banger Sisters.
