The two models led attendees at the MTV College Signing Day event with Michelle Obama at Manhattan's Public Theater in New York City on Friday.

Along with the top she wore a checked grey jacket, jeans cropped just above the ankle and white Nike Air Force 1 trainers.

The event was hosted by former First Lady Michelle Obama as more than 200 high school seniors from across the US attended.

The 53-year-old wife of Barack Obama has attended the event for four years straight as it celebrates students' commitment to higher education.

Bella seemed excited by Michelle's presence as she took to Instagram to share a snippet of the former First Lady's speech with the caption: 'I love you so much [heart emojis] my first lady.'
