'I still don't get the fuss about Annie Hall': Diane Keaton shrugs off her Academy Award success... as the star, 71, admits she loves kissing on-screen
She scooped the prestigious Academy Award for Best Actress for her leading role in Annie Hall.
But Diane Keaton shrugged off the movie's critical acclaim as she made an appearance on The Graham Norton show on Friday night, saying: 'I still don't get the fuss but I was happy to participate.'
The Hollywood A-Lister, 71, also spoke about the thrill of enjoying an on-screen romance - and the kissing that comes with it.

Describing film kisses, she joked: 'It's the best. It doesn't get any better.
'Think of all the men you get to kiss and you don't have to pay the price.
'The relationship is perfect because you are in the story and it's the greatest thing kissing a man in a movie.

'People say it is hard but they are wrong!'
The Oscar-winning actress revealed co-stars Michael Douglas and Morgan Freeman topped her smooching short list.
The Something's Gotta Give star puckered up to show off her kissing technique on the show, smooching host Graham as well as red sofa stars Jessica Chastain and Kevin Bacon.

After the kiss, Kevin coyly said: 'That's now ticked off the bucket list!'
While she revealed she didn't get the 'fuss' with Annie Hall, the movie starlet hailed The Godfather as 'genius'.
She made her film debut in 1970 but her first major movie role was Kay Adams-Corleone in the mafia title.

Diane explained: 'I watched the movie for the first time in 30 years and I have to tell everyone it is genius.
'I couldn't believe how good it was. It was great to be there.'
She was also joined on the red sofa by Michael Fassbender and British band Gorillaz.
