Hacked documents from Emmanuel Macron's presidential campaign were posted online tonight in a 'massive and co-ordinated attack' after the front-runner complained of Russian attempts to destabilise him. Some nine gigabytes of data were posted by a user called EMLEAKS to Pastebin, a document-sharing site that allows anonymous posting. They included emails, accounting documents and contracts - all legal - from his campaign. Macron's political movement En Marche! (Onwards!) said that several of its leaders had their emails hacked. Former economy minister Macron's team has complained in the past about attempts to hack its emails during a fraught campaign, blaming Russian interests in part for the cyber attacks. President Vladimir Putin is said to favour anti-EU candidate Le Pen whose election would contribute to the further destabilisation of the Union.

Aaron Hernandez's (right) handwritten suicide note (top left) to his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez (bottom left), has been released. In the note, he tells her she'll be rich after he kills himself, to look after two boys - whose names have been crossed out - and that his suicide was 'God's plan'. The couple (inset) had known each other since childhood and became engaged in October 2012 while Shayanna was pregnant with their daughter, Avielle.

Anna Hayes, a high school senior from Lake Village, Arkansas attended prom last week with a male friend, Phillip Freeman - who happens to be black. When her father - whom she does not live with - saw the photos, he was livid, and sent her a long tirade of racist, sexist text messages telling Anna that he was disowning her and calling both her and her date heartbreakingly offensive names. 'We are done,' he texted her. 'I won't be coming to your graduation. Nor will I pay for your college. Go live with the n*****s. Don't ever contact me again we are through. Go ahead be a F***IN wh*** leave me out of it. Your pictures are already off my walls. You can go to hell. What the f*** is wrong with you? ... You want to mingle with Subhumans I'll treat you accordingly. [sic]'

Marc Vallieres (left) and two of his employees - Dennis Flamond (bottom right) and Hans Lytle (bottom left) - have been charged with kidnapping and false imprisonment after their rehab clinic in Woodbury, Tennessee (right) was raided by police. A man called 911 in February to report that he had been locked in a cabin at a facility in Woodbury - a small rural town south-east of Nashville - for nine months. The man told police he was at the rehab facility so he could get cleansed through Scientology but claims he was forced to stay, was allegedly assaulted and given unknown medications. Police subsequently searched the facility and found a woman who made the same allegations of abuse. The so-called rehab facility is not affiliated with the Church of Scientology. A judge ordered this week for the facility to be permanently closed.

Sheila Miyoshi Jager, the woman who Barack Obama proposed to - twice - before he met Michelle, was seen quietly getting on with academic life this week at Oberlin College in Ohio. Revelations about their relationship emerged in a new presidential biography: Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. The book reveals he proposed twice to Jager, 53. The couple were very much in love in the mid 1980s,  living together in Chicago, according to Jager, who described them as being 'an island unto ourselves.' They even had a cat together named Max - although Jager says he was not upset to give it away after Obama left for Harvard. She is married to retired Army colonel Jiyul Kim, also a professor at Oberlin.

The video, released by ABC's 20/20 ahead of a Friday night episode about the case, shows Elizabeth Thomas leaving her Columbia, Tennessee home and getting in a vehicle on the morning of March 13. Elizabeth and Tad Cummins ended up spending 39 days on the run, leading police across the country on a nationwide manhunt. Cummins was arrested and Elizabeth found safe on April 20 in a cabin in northern California.

The father of actor Owen Wilson (pictured left together in 2008) has died after a battle with Alzheimer's. Robert Wilson, who brought Monty Python and Jim Lehrer to American television, died on Friday at the age of 75, reported KERA News, the station he formerly ran.The former TV executive left behind his sons Owen, Luke and Andrew, who all became actors and his wife Laura, a photographer (pictured with Robert and Owen right in 2008).

Eighteen members of a now-shuttered fraternity at Penn State University and the frat itself are facing criminal charges in the death of a student who was fatally injured in a fall during an alcohol-fueled pledge night. Eight frat brothers at Beta Theta Pi and the frat are accused of involuntary manslaughter - including (from left to right insets) Joe Sala, Jonah Neuman, Luke Visser, and Nicholas Kubera. GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING: The 31-year-old tourist was walking to her Airbnb rental in Harlem Thursday when the mugger struck from behind, yanking her purse, beating her unconscious and knocking out her teeth before pulling down her pants and sexually assaulting her. Detectives suspect the same man carried out a strikingly similar attack in nearby Hamilton Heights last week, in which a 35-year-old woman was mugged, punched and groped.

The criticism came in a pair of strident tweets on Friday evening, after Trump had arrived at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he plans to spend the weekend for the first time as president. The narrow passage of the bill in the Republican-controlled US House of Representatives came after House Republicans failed to reach a consensus in March and a vote on the issue was scrapped.

The people of the village of Younanen, on the island of Tanna Island off the coast of Vanuatu, were shocked to discover the man they worship as a god will stop attending public engagements. The tribe first heard the news on Saturday - almost three days after it was announced. They pray to the Duke of Edinburgh (inset) as they believe he is the son of an ancestral local mountain god. Locals now fear his retirement means he will never return to the Pacific Island where the royal and Queen Elizabeth II are part of the fabric of life in the village of Younanen. Through an interpreter village chief Jack Malia (pictured left this month) said: 'If he comes one day the people will not be poor, there will be no sickness, no debt and the garden will be growing very well.'

A jury decided on Friday that Preston Strong, 50 (left), should be sentenced to death over the brutal slaying of six people in Yuma, Arizona 12 years ago. Strong spent hours killing his best friend Luis Rios, 35 (inset), Adrienne Heredia, 29, and her four children - Andreas, Enrique, Inez and Danny (right) - back in 2005. Strong suffocated Heredia and three of her children and fatally shot her youngest child and Rios. The two oldest children were bound and strangled, the 9-year-old girl also had been strangled and the 6-year-old was bound by electric cords. Strong and Rios had been arguing over money before the killings.

Brittany Vareha, 27, and Malinda Chalmers, 41, were arrested at a home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday after police busted them in an undercover prostitution sting. Police had responded to an advertisement on a website called Escort Babylon that stated: 'Fine female with curves that don't quit looking to help you relieve your stress.' Chalmers' 15-year-old son and Vareha's four-year-old son were both in the home at the time. Both were charged with endangering the welfare of children and prohibited acts. Chalmers was also charged with prostitution and possessing instruments of crime.

Lynsi Snyder (left) received a birthday present that is unique in the annals of human history - a 97 percent stake in a fast food chain worth an estimated $1.3billion. Snyder received the final portion of her inheritance on Friday upon turning 35, according to Forbes. She is the granddaughter of Harry and Esther Snyder, the founders of the famous In-N-Out Burger restaurant chain (right). She is the only biological heir to the In-N-Out fortune, but she grew up with two half-sisters (pictured in the inset photo) from her mother Lynda's previous marriage.

Officer Ricky Urena of Grand Rapids was working a protest when a woman snapped his photo and put it on Facebook and his smoldering good looks went viral. The picture has received over 6,000 shares and 1,000 comments. 'It's kind of unreal' he says of all the attention while admitting his colleagues are 'making fun of me.'

A porn star was left needing 20 stitches on a bloody gash after a lemon shark bit her while she was filming a promo for an adult entertainment company. Nicholas Green was just seven years old when ruthless killers shot him dead during a family holiday in Italy in a random act of horror in 1994. His selfless parents Maggie and Reg donated Nicholas' heart to Andrea Mongiardo, a Roman teenage boy in desperate need of a transplant. The act of kindness kept Mr Mongiardo alive for 22 more years until he died in February - meaning their beloved son's heart only stopped beating this year. But the American couple did not stop there - Nicholas' organs went on to save the lives of five Italians and his corneas saved the sight of two others. The gesture, as well as national horror at the random murder of a child, led to Italy's organ donation rate tripling in a decade - a result hailed as the 'Nicholas effect'.

Katrina Goss, the mother of 11-year-old Michigan boy Tysen Benz who took his own life after falling victim to a cruel prank, tell Dr Phil she thinks the boy's girlfriend 'intentionally' targeted him. Tysen hanged himself inside his bedroom closet on March 14, just hours after seeing social media posts and text messages claiming that his 13-year-old girlfriend had killed herself. The boy died in an Ann Arbor, Michigan, hospital from his injuries three weeks later.

Five-time Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, 38, has split with her beach volleyball tour, AVP, and her partner, April Ross (pictured inset, left, and Walsh Jennings, right). The three-time gold medalist rejected the deal that she said offered minimal growth in prize money and the number of events. Having previously won three gold medals with former partner Misty May-Treanor, and a bronze medal in Rio de Janeiro with Ross, Walsh Jennings says she's looking for a new way into the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

A kindhearted police officer who pulled over a vehicle only to find the two toddlers inside weren't in car seats decided to give them a gift rather than a ticket. Officer Hunter Schweickart (inset) of the Hilliard, Ohio police department made a routine traffic stop on Friday and found three children in the car. The three-year-old and two-year-old did not have car seats. An eight-month-old was properly restrained. While the officer could have ticketed the family, he did something unexpected - he went to a nearby Target store and paid for two EvenFlo car seats (main). The seats can range in price from $50 to $200.

The three spheres (top left) - the tallest of which is 90ft tall and 130ft in diameter - are part of a $4billion effort by Amazon to build a campus in Seattle. Amazon unveiled three giant new steel-framed, glass-enclosed domes called, 'The Spheres,' and did the ceremonial first planting of the 400-plus species of plants that will eventually be housed there (bottom right and left). The five story structure will not have any official office space or conferences and is slated to open in 2018 and will house 800 staff and personnel (top left).

At the Pokemon World Festival there are serious repercussions for giving a deflating performance. The performer was center stage in front of hundreds of spectators for a big dance medley. It started off according to the plan with the team of 15 dancers cheerfully waddling around to Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk'. But disaster struck during the Hairspray track, 'You Can't Stop the beat', when the main dancer's costume sprung a leak and began deflating.

A western Australian man has filmed himself opening a VB with a crab's claw. In the footage a man is seen reaching into his chilly bin where a crab is waiting. He puts his arm in and meets the crab's reach before it yanks off his bottle top. The video has gone viral raking up over 15,000 shares and 1.3 million views.

She was sentenced to 10 years.The Clearwater Bar Association has held the mock trial of Gold E. Locks v. the Three Bears for Pinellas County's elementary school students for the past several years and had costumes for their actors to assume their role - Darren Stotts as Pop A. Bear, Kristine Reighard and Kit Van Pelt as Mom A. Bear, Martha Evans as Babe E. Bear and Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge Kimberly Campbell as Gold E. Locks.

An enormous sinkhole nearly swallowed a cement-carrying flatbed truck whole in San Francisco early Friday morning, forcing the stunned driver to abandon the rig. 'I can't believe it happened to me' said driver Alejandro Curiel. Investigators still aren't sure what caused the sinkhole, however it may have been a sewer main. The hole has been stabilized.
