High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, (right) is pursuing legal action through London law firm Cohen Davis Solicitors (pictured inset, boss Yair Cohen) against 44-year-old mother Sarah Gardner after she gave the eatery one star, described the staff as 'rude' and the food 'mediocre'. And MailOnline can today reveal that Mrs Gardner is not the only customer who has been threatened with legal action for negative online reviews. Earlier this year, Felicity Gallagher (left) took her seven-year-old boy to the restaurant for lunch and ordered spaghetti bolognese. In a Facebook review, posted on High Rocks' page, on January 30, she described the the dish as 'slop'. Manager Giuseppe Cappellazzi, 67, went back to check the CCTV footage of Ms Gallagher eating her meal and replied to her post to say that it looked like she 'enjoyed' her food.

Contrasting her approach with Labour's unfunded spending splurge, the Prime Minister said she would not shy away from making 'hard choices' to turn the country into a 'great meritocracy'. In a bold pitch for working class support, Mrs May bluntly stated that the next few years would not be 'easy' and appealed for an end to 'tribal' attitudes that have divided the nation. David Harris - who worked on crime drama The Bill - offered up to £200,000 to men he thought would murder his wife Hazel Allinson, 69, so he could spend her money on his mistress, 28-year-old Lithuanian Ugne Cekaviciute. But the man he thought would kill his wife actually secretly recorded their conversations and handed the audio over to police. At one point Harris can be heard coldly telling the 'hitman' he would owe him a 'big drink' after his wife was killed. Astonishingly, when he arrested by police, Ms Allinson stood by her husband and even considered giving evidence in his defence.
He wanted parish councillor Ms Allinson dead for her money, including an £800,000 house in the picturesque village of Amberley, near Arundel in West Sussex. Video released by City of London police shows Harris meeting with a man to arrange Ms Allinson's murder.

Louise Winstanley, a 29-year-old mother-of-two from Liverpool, discovered she had the disease when she was eight months pregnant. Her baby daughter Harlow (left) was born by Caesarian section and she has since bravely battled the cancer which affects the blood. Tributes have now been paid to the mother-of-two (pictured with her two-year-old son Jaxon) after she passed away following complications from a stem cell transplant.

A safari park is challenging viewers to spot the 10ft-long, 500lb tigers 'hiding' in a recent snap of their enclosure. Blair Drummond Safari Park, near Stirling, says Genghis, 19, and Bella, 14, (inset) are not quite as easy to pick out as their immense size would suggest. The Amur tigers' markings are designed to provide camouflage in situations of light and shade in the wild. Genghis is pretty easy to spot but the safari park has had to help many of its followers on social media pick out Bella.

EXCLUSIVE: In the one-minute clip, dated 3:24pm on Sunday, a man wearing a hoodie is seen trying to remove a racing bike from the back of a car as it is travels down Tower Bridge Road in central London. But time is against him. As the lights change, the car speeds off, leaving him struggling to keep up. The footage was captured by Musa, 24, who had been travelling back home from a bike ride when the thief decided to target him.

Women were spotted teetering into the grounds on high heels as they made a statement in vibrant cocktail hats. More than 2,200 guests watched as the 1st Battalion and F Company Scots Guards were honoured by the Queen in the middle of a summer downpour in Buckingham Palace gardens. The Queen, who is their Colonel-in-Chief, last presented the Scots Guards with their colours during her Golden Jubilee year of 2002. These were later taken by the 1st Battalion on five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. The colours - or regimental flags - are treasured by the regiment because they were originally used as rallying points on the battlefield to help troops avoid becoming disorientated by the fog of war.

An illustrated sign right next to Lincoln's historic Newport Arch ironically warns drivers against repeating the extensive damage to the arch caused by a lorry in 1964. Back then, a lorry crashed into the arch, which forms part of the city walls, and caused extensive damage. There was also another incident with a lorry in 2004. A tourist sign right next to the archway features an illustration of the moment in 1964. Clearly the lorry driver today didn't see it beforehand.

An incredible set of photographs have revealed an underground Nazi city which was built under The Hague to house 3,300 SS soldiers. The subterranean facility was built in 1942 in a fishing village called Scheveningen when some 135,000 inhabitants had to leave their homes when the Nazis declared it a restricted area. Builders got to work on the bunker complex, which included tunnels (inset and right), living quarters, store rooms and even saunas on the coastline near the Dutch city (seen in the background, left) and ran deep under the city itself. 

Rosehall Estate in Lairg, Scotland, was once the secret bolt hole for the legendary fashion designer (inset) and her lover the Earl of Grosvenor during their whirlwind affair in the 1920s. The ramshackle mansion was originally on the market for £3 million, but after failing to sell for two years it is now being offered with a price cut of almost 17 per cent. It boasts 12-bedrooms, has planning permission to be converted into a hotel, and many of the rooms (bottom left) were designed by Chanel and modelled on her own Parisian apartment. While recovering from an illness, Winston Churchill also stayed on the estate in 1928. The mansion also comes with 550 acres of land, including a loch (bottom right) that can be stocked for fishing, acres of gardens and hunting rights.

Laura Evans, the Conservative candidate for Walton, Liverpool, revealed how she shed 16 stone in just two years. The 51-year-old (left and inset before the weight loss and right today) described how she shed the pounds after being left embarrassed when she her 24st frame became stuck in a hula hoop during a school fun day. The local councillor swapped starchy foods for healthy snacks and said has not touched bread or biscuits for 10 years.

A Royal Marine veteran who died with no known relatives had a poignant funeral fit for a hero today after hundreds answered a social media appeal. When Harry Wheeler (inset) passed away at Ashfields Care Home for the Elderly in Macclesfield, Cheshire, there were fears no one would attend his funeral because he had no surviving family members. Mr Wheeler's beloved wife of 50 years, Enid, and their daughter, Susan, both died before him. But a social media campaign launched by friends saw a staggering wave of support with more than 300 mourners making their way to Macclesfield Crematorium to pay their respects (pictured). Mr Wheeler's coffin was draped in a Union Jack flag and arrived in a horse drawn carriage (top right) behind a military piper as a friend paid tribute to an 'extremely lovable man' who was 'an absolute joy to be around'.

Kingsnorth Power Station in Hoo, Kent, was decommissioned in 2012, but yesterday a dramatic demolition saw the final demise of two of its bunkers. In the short clip, above, posted to Twitter, a line of carefully positioned explosives are detonated one by one along the length of the building. The devastating result is that an entire section of the bunker shifts forward and teeters in place for a few breath-taking moments before toppling to the ground. In the video, a startled pigeon only just manages to escape the all-consuming cloud of dust and rubble that billowed from the site at the moment of impact.

An inspiring video has emerged showing a determined father trying to help his wheelchair-bound son compete in a tough obstacle race at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire. The father-son team touched the hearts of many online as it was shared thousands of times within hours of it being posted.

Photographer John Dibbs has spent travelling across the globe to photograph the final remaining Hurricane fighter planes used to defeat the Germans in the Battle of Britain. The Hawker Hurricane was seen as the poor relation to the Spitfire in the Second World War but these stunning photographs reveal just how majestic it was in full flight. A total of 14,583 Hurricanes were made during the Second World War but, because of the high casualty toll and the fact most were scrapped, only 13 airworthy ones exist today. The amazing images include shots of a Hurricane painted in the colours of No 303 'Polish' Sqn (inset) and a Hurricane AE 977 patrolling the White Cliffs of Dover (right).

For most of us, the shed is a place to store flowerpots, the lawnmower and old bags of compost. But an enterprising few have transformed their back garden boltholes into everything from a cathedral (pictured bottom left) to a real-life flight simulator (top right) and wartime police station. Such imaginative - and eccentric - creations are among the finalists from almost 3,000 entries in the annual Shed Of The Year competition and include a bunker under a traditional shed and a replica of a Victorian railway carriage. They will also feature on TV series Amazing Spaces Shed Of The Year, airing on C4 this summer. The competition, now in its tenth year, features such categories as Eco, Pub & Entertainment, Workshop & Studio, Cabin & Summerhouse, Historic, Unexpected, Budget and the inaugural #NotAShed - which goes beyond the traditional idea of a 'shed'. Among those in the running are a underground shed based on a war-time bunker (top left) and a home cinema (bottom right) complete with its own lobby and kiosk.

Businessman Jamahl McMurran (instet) and artist Lana Mesic, left 15,000 2p coins on a towpath of Regent's Canal, near Kingsland Street in London, at 9am yesterday. The pair dropped off the £300 mound of coins, left over from one of Lana's recent art installations, and set up a camera in Jamahl's flat to capture peoples' reactions. They managed to receive four hours of 'exciting' footage before two men swiped the £300 pile (top right).

A woman in China posed for a dramatic set of wedding photos involving fire. The bride's wedding dress was set on fire with the flames at one point reaching her back. 'Behind the scenes' footage was posted online on May 16 with many people on Chinese social media sharing their concerns.

Meet Dou Dou the poodle who loves walking upright. In new footage posted online on May 15, the two-year-old dog can be seen walking through the streets in China on its hind legs. Many people have criticised the video saying that it is cruel to the dog.

A transfer of hundreds of members of organised crime gangs from an overcrowded jail to a new maximum security prison has unearthed details of the pampered lifestyles they have left behind (left). A total of 773 gang members have been moved from a prison in Tamara, near the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa, to the new El Pozo 2 jail in La Tova in the western Honduran department of El Paraiso. The designer flat-like cells were kitted out with huge TVs (top right) air conditioning, colour-coordinated furniture, food blenders, coffee machines and well-stocked fridge-freezers. Some of the inmates even had access to a special comfort room with mirrors and ambient lighting, dubbed the Kamasutra room (bottom right), for conjugal visits with their wives and girlfriends.

Travelling with children can be difficult at the best of times.
