Nicole Richie hilariously channelled Marky Mark during Thursday night's episode of Lip Sync Battle.

The socialite and fashion designer donned a fake six-pack muscle tee as she danced and gyrated to the nineties classic Good Vibrations - which was performed during the rapper's early days with the Funky Bunch. 

The 35-year-old reality star ensured that a pair of low-rise jeans showed her underwear and also opted for cap - nailing down Mark Wahlberg's iconic hunky look from over twenty years.

Nicole got into the spirit of Marky's confident display and served up serious attitude as she took to the stage with a crew of back-up dancers. 

She was seen busting out some serious moves as well as getting jiggy with host Chrissy Teigen, who was dressed as Lady Liberty. 

Mark - now 45 - who now boasts quite the successful acting career, initially burst out on the scene as a wannabe rapper back in the early nineties. 

The hunk went on to gain prominence as part of the band Marky Mark and the Funky Brunch.

He is also famously known for setting pulses racing with his iconic Calvin Klein underwear campaigns - which didn't falter in showcasing his chiselled torso. 

Nicole was evidently excited about the throwback venture as she took to Instagram with a snap of her behind the scenes.

Nicole has recently been kept busy in Tina Fey's executive produced comedy Great News.

She revealed she was surprised about how much she wanted to star on the show, which was released April 25:

'As soon as I got it, we were shooting, like, five days later. And so, I just had to jump right into it. I had no idea what I was walking into.'

Nicole plays plays Portia in the newsroom comedy which is executive produced by Tina Fey.

Nicole is currently loved up with her Good Charlotte rocker beau Joel Madden, who she has been with for 10 years and married for six.

They are doting parents to children Harlow, nine, and Sparrow, seven.
