Zoe Saldana revealed during a chat show appearance Thursday that she was 'shocked' when Britney Spears disclosed the actress was pregnant with twins.

The 38-year-old was asked about the twins revelation by a caller on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.

The caller asked if it was true that Britney, 35, accidentally made the disclosure and if she ever apologized.

'It's so true,' Zoe confirmed.

'But, literally in the way that it happened was so innocent that I never thought of holding her accountable for anything,' she added.

Zoe explained that she and Britney were on the same flight from Los Angeles to New York and they spoke for the whole duration.

'She has two boys and I was having twins. We had a beautiful talk and I forgot. It never even occurred to me to tell her not to say anything,' Zoe said.

Zoe Saldana appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, looking very elegant indeed in all-black.

'We weren't trying to hide it, we were just trying to be discreet,' she added.

Britney the day after their flight broke the news that Zoe was expecting twins during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

She was asked at the time if she would do another movie with her Crossroads co-star.

'Who knows? That’s a very good idea. But she’s pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her,' Britney told ET.

Zoe on WWHL said that when the pop star disclosed her pregnancy news early she chalked it up to her 'just being Britney'.

'I don't mean that in a negative way because she lives her life in such truth,' Zoe clarified.

'I was shocked because we weren't ready to sort of share that, but it was Britney, so it was OK,' she said.

Andy Cohen, 48, welcomed Zoe and 2 Broke Girls star Beth Behrs, 31, onto the Bravo chat show.

Zoe was promoting the highly anticipated sequel Guardians Of The Galax Vol. 2 that opens in the US on Friday.

Beth meanwhile told a caller she didn't know if 2 Broke Girls would be returning for another season.
