The lucky one! Chelsea fan becomes Twitter sensation for posting 'selfie' with Mourinho as Blues boss is banished to the stands

When Chelsea fan Sean Buxton paid £15.50 for a ticket to Stamford Bridge, the last thing he expected was to be sat next to Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

But when Mourinho was sent to the stands following a confrontation with referee Anthony Taylor, the 17-year-old student found himself rubbing shoulders with the Special One.

Buxton took a 'selfie' with Mourinho and, when he posted it on Twitter, the photograph went viral with more than 20,000 retweets.

The lucky supporter posted the caption 'OMG morinho is sitting next to me wtf!!!!!' and minutes later joked 'He's taking the piss with the leg room'.

Buxton's Twitter following rocketed to more than 5,000 and he had his moment of fame when Gary Lineker gave the youngster a mention on Match of the Day.

Buxton posted to his new followers that he was 'buzzing' after the match as Chelsea went on to beat Cardiff 4-1.

Mourinho found himself in trouble when he wandered way out of his technical area to complain at referee Taylor for accusing Branislav Ivanovic of time-wasting, the same offence that earlier saw Cardiff keeper Marshall booked.

When the manager first remonstrated then refused to go quietly, Taylor pointed to the stands, prompting the most colourful boss in the Premier League to sit eight rows back from his dugout.
