A mixture of actors, reality stars and presenters put on impressive sartorial displays as they hit the red carpet at London’s 02 arena for the National Television Awards.

So as a member of one of the hottest bands in the industry, it came as no surprise that Rochelle Humes' display was nothing less than stunning.

The 25-year-old chose to channel Hollywood siren style on Wednesday evening in a plunging strapless scarlet gown which featured a fishtail train.

In the Drama category, Downton Abbey will fight it out alongside Sherlock, Doctor Who and Cilla.

Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch is up for Drama Performance, as is Downton's Dame Maggie Smith, Sheridan Smith for her portrayal of Cilla Black in the mini-series and Sarah Lancashire for acclaimed show Happy Valley.

Reality hit Geordie Shore has picked up its first nomination at the NTAs. It will compete in the Multichannel category against Celebrity Juice, Game Of Thrones and The Walking Dead.

A brand new award sees some of the nation’s favourite shows come head to head: The Great British Bake Off, The Apprentice, Masterchef and Come Dine With Me all up for the Skills Challenge award.

Ant and Dec are in with a chance to walk away with their 14th Entertainment Presenter prize at the ceremony, although they face stiff competition from Keith Lemon, Bradley Walsh and Dermot O'Leary, who is presenting the NTAs this year.

As for Serial Drama Performance, EastEnders couple Kellie Bright and Danny Dyer are both nominated, as are Emmerdale's Verity Rushworth and Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson.
