Have I Got News For You viewers were outraged when comedian Andy Hamilton began cracking jokes about Theresa May suffering from Dementia.
Making a reference to the Prime Minister's regularly repeated slogans, he indicated that - rather than trying to drill her message into voters' heads - she may simply be prone to memory loss.
The lefty funnyman said: 'I knew I was coming on the show so at the weekend I thought I would watch the Sunday politics shows and I stopped counting in the end because she began so many sentences with that construction: 'I'm very clear…'
Andy Hamilton controversially joked that Theresa May may be suffering from dementia on Have I Got News For You
'It struck me that normally if someone repeated themselves that incessantly, you'd get them checked out for Alzheimer's.
'I'm not saying that the Prime Minister has dementia, but what I'm saying if she doesn't want people to start wondering about that, she should stop repeating herself.
'She's forgetting a lot of stuff - she's forgotten her position on Brexit pretty quickly. I'm not saying she's got dementia but if next week she's giving a press conference in her pyjamas, you heard it here first.'
Show regular Paul Merton, who was sat next to him, joined in with the gag by saying she was trying to find her own home
