Harley the sausage dog can balance anything on his head - whether it is a football, a jar of paint, or even a pint of Guinness. 

Now the Dachshund's bizarre talent has reached a global internet audience after his owners posted photos of him in action.

Jen Scott, and her boyfriend Paul Lavery, from Belfast, credit Harley's talents to his flat head and sheer passion for balancing.

Mr Lavery, 27, said Harley began balancing things on his head as a way of getting treats. 

'It all started with a toy chicken and Harley was a natural,' he told Belfast Live

Ms Scott is now entering him for a test to appear in The Guinness World Records. 

She said: 'We are just waiting for the application form and to find the adjudicators so in the meantime Harley is getting in lots of practice.'
