And on Saturday, Maria Shriver joined daughters Katherine and Christina Schwarzenegger for a pal's baby shower in West Hollywood.

Christina, 25, was responsible for planning the event, which was held at the restaurant co-founded by Jessica Biel, Au Fudge.

The blogger took to Instagram to share her party-planning technique, as well as a photo of the final outcome.

'Throwing my first baby shower tomorrow for my bestie @julie.j.rasmussen and my party favors and decorations have arrived! Follow the planning on insta stories! PC @ChristinaSchwarzenegger,' she wrote.

Maria is a journalist, having appeared on such shows such as NBC Nightly News, Dateline and Today. She is also the author of nine books.

Like her mother, Katherine has graduated from USC with a focus in journalism, and has written two books, the most recent about what to do after graduation.
