Far-right candidate Marine Le Pen was filmed dancing to I Love Rock N Roll just hours after she conceded defeat to Emmanuel Macron in the French presidential election.
The 48-year-old was showing off her moves and singing along to the Alan Merrill song made famous by the Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
In the bizarre clips, posted online, she was also seen spinning around on the dancefloor as YMCA by the Village People was played on the big speakers.
Just hours before, the National Front candidate phoned Macron, 39, to congratulate him on his victory after exit polls showed he had received 66 per cent of the vote.
Just hours after losing the election, Marine Le Pen (pictured) was filmed dancing at her party HQ
She conceded and Macron later celebrated with thousands of his supporters outside the Louvre in Paris with his 64-year-old wife Brigitte.
But Le Pen seemed to have quickly put the result behind her and danced the night away at her party headquarters in the French capital.
She claimed the result was a victory for the National Front and said: 'I congratulate him on his election because I have the best interests of the country at heart, I wish him success.
'I would like thank the 11 million French people who gave me their voice and their confidence.
'I want to thank the activists who have supported and accompanied me throughout this campaign.
'I will be at the head of this fight to gather together all of those who choose France first.
Earlier that evening, the 48-year-old (pictured) claimed that the result was a victory for the National Front
'The Front National must renew itself to live up to this historic opportunity and expectations of the French people.
'I plan to begin the transformation of our movement to create a new political force.
'I am calling all patriots to join and participate in the decisive political battle that begins tonight. More than ever in the coming months France will need you.
'Long live the Republic, Long live France.'
