She's always been known for her strong work ethic.

But since becoming a mother to toddler Titan Jewell Witherspoon almost three years ago, Kelly Rowland is taking her career more seriously than ever.

'Career definitely takes the lead because I have a mouth to feed,' she told Woman's Day magazine.

'I want to make sure Titan is satisfied and well taken care of,' she continued.

'And that he has an even better situation growing up than what I had when I was a kid.'

The former Destiny's Child diva is currently working as one of the mentors on The Voice Australia.

It's far from the first TV singing competition that the star has worked on.

In 2011, she served as a judge on The X Factor UK, before taking the same job for the U.S. version of the series two years later.

Last year, she teamed up with BET to create and host Chasing Destiny, a reality series about putting together the next Destiny's Child.

In addition to her music career and TV gigs, Kelly has also branched out into writing.

This year, she published her first book, Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (and Wonder What the #*$& Just Happened).

She's also known for her many endorsement deals, teaming up brands like Claritin, Band-Aids, and Seagram's Escapes.
