Nikki Reed revealed a few days ago that she is pregnant with her first child.

And on Monday she posted another photo of her blossoming baby bump to her Instagram.

The canny actress, 28, who is married to Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, killed two birds with one stone as she used her pregnancy look to also promote her sustainable clothing line.

The Twilight star is pictured in the snap with a hand tenderly placed on the top of her belly while wearing 'The Nikki Dress,' a jersey knit frock from her Bayou With Love brand that retails for $200.

The loose-fitting charcoal gray number has over-sized arm holes, slits up to the knees and a neckline that allows it to be work off-the-shoulder.

And the savvy businesswoman added in the online dress description that 'Mamas to be will also love this dress!'

Nikki had shared her exciting baby news with fans last Thursday by sharing a photo of her husband of two years placing a tender kiss on her pregnant belly.

In the snap, she cradles her bump with both hands while Ian kneels down with his left hand on her right hand.

Alongside the photo, in which she's wearing one of her clothing line's flowing light blue chambray dress, Nikki wrote a sweet message to her unborn child.

'Hi Little One,' she wrote. 'I know you, but only because I feel you. How is it possible to love someone so much already?'

She went on: 'All I know for sure is it's the strongest feeling I've ever felt. We've been sharing this body for quite some time, and we've already experienced so much together. We can't wait to meet you... Love, Your parents.'

The couple married in 2015 and just celebrated their second wedding anniversary one week ago.

On Thursday, Ian, 38, posted the same snap as Nikki and said he 'couldn't think of anything more exciting' than parenthood.

'In my 38 years on this earth I’ve never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this,' he wrote on social media.

He then explained why they had had kept the news secret for so long.

Nikki, who played Rosalie Hale in the five Twilight films, was previously married to American Idol alum Paul McDonald whom she married in October 2011 following a whirlwind romance.

The actress filed for divorce in May 2014 and it was finalized in January 2015.

In February 2015, she confirmed her engagement to Ian who had previously been in a three-year relationship with his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev. They split in 2013.
