The man accused of killing two engaged doctors in their Boston apartment and writing a 'message of revenge' on their wall was arraigned by a judge at his hospital bedside on Monday. Bampumim Teixeira (pictured left and center on Monday) was charged with two counts of murder as it emerged he used to work as a security guard at the luxury complex where his victims lived, somehow gained access to their $1.9million apartment and allegedly slit their throats before stealing a bag of jewelry. Dr Richard Field, 49, and Dr Lina Bolanos (pictured together right), 38 were brutally murdered after Teixeira, 30, burst into their luxury penthouse on Friday evening, police say. Teixeira, who was shot in the hand, abdomen and leg during a shootout with police, entered two not-guilty pleas to the two counts of murder he was charged with while in his hospital bed at Tufts Medical Center Monday afternoon. Judge Michael Bolden ordered Teixeira to be held without bail and court-appointed defense attorney Steve Sack did not argue for bail. His next court date is June 8.

Bristol Palin has given birth to a baby girl and named her Atlee Bay. The 26-year-old posted a photograph of herself posing with her adorable newborn and husband Dakota Meyer on Monday evening, and wrote: 'Welcome to the world Atlee Bay.' Proud father Dakota shared the same image, writing: 'Meet Atlee Bay!!! The newest edition of the Meyer family!! @bsmp2 #dadlife #ownthedash.' Bristol’s mother Sarah told DailyMail.com: 'What a happy story! What a happy day! Babies are the best ingredient in our world, and we're blessed to help welcome Atlee Bay to it. The whole family couldn't be more thrilled!' 

Ryan Sean Davy (pictured) hid in a cave in Nepal while attempting to climb the world's biggest mountain alone, in a bid to dodge paying the $11,000 fee. He was found at 20,000ft. He was ordered off the mountain, had his passport confiscated and will be fined $22,000, an official said.

Bundy (inset) earned the dubious distinction of becoming one of the deadliest serial killers in US history who confessed to murdering more than 30 women. He was executed in 1989, aged 42, after being convicted of killing two Florida State University sorority members and a 12-year-old girl.

Jessica Bricker, 26, and Allen Bricker, 32, surprised their wedding guests with a lightsaber duel to finish out their first dance as a married couple in Hoagland, Indiana on Saturday. Both the bride's brother, Jeremy Williams , and one of the groomsmen, Travis Barnes , caught the hilarious battle on tape. Jessica and Allen blocked out all the moves themselves, keeping the entire thing a secret from their friends, family and loved ones.

The Army veteran's death comes nine days before she was scheduled to appear in court on animal cruelty charges. Rollins and her boyfriend Jarren Heng, 25 (mug, left inset), stand accused of tying her service dog up to a tree and shooting it dead (the couple pictured before the attack, right and far right inset). The couple were arrested after video of the horrific killing was posted to Facebook last month. In the video, Rollins can be heard laughing as she shoots the dog dead. Rollins was medically retired from the military in January.

While ex-acting Attorney General Sally Yates addressed questions on Capitol Hill about former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and his ties to Russia, she also explained her decision not to support President Trump's controversial travel ban. 'I don't mean any disrepect. Who appointed you to the United States Supreme Court?' asked Sen. John Kennedy, a Republican from Louisiana.

A video of a young girl telling a Donald Trump impersonator he is a 'disgrace' fooled social media users into thinking the president had been humiliated by a child. A five-second clip, taken from Comedy Central's The President Show, showed Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik approaching the girl for a photo opportunity, only to be swiftly shut down. The video was liked more than 250,000 times on Twitter and viewers were quick to hail the young girl as a 'hero' for telling Atamanuik, 'You're a disgrace to the world.'

The 29-year-old actress took to the stage with her Get Out co-star Lil Rel Howery to present the Best Kiss award, which ended up going to Moonlight's Jharrel Jerome and Ashton Sanders. A former University of Arizona track and field athlete has opened up about how her Olympic dreams were dashed after allegedly being blackmailed for three years into a sexual relationship with her coach. Baillie Gibson (left), a two-time NCAA Outdoor All-American and 2011 NCAA Indoor All-American, told ESPN that former UA assistant track coach Craig Carter (right), who is married with four children, blackmailed her into having an affair that lasted nearly three years. Gibson claims that Carter took sexually explicit photos of her in 2012 following a party and used those images to blackmail her into having a relationship with him. She claims that Carter threatened her with death and rape threats through phone calls, emails and text messages for years.

On Monday his father Michael Jones, 46, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced to life in prison in a Kansas City courtroom for the torture and murder of his 7-year-old son. His wife Heather Jones, 31, has already received a life sentence with a minimum of 25 years in prison. Adrian's grandmother, Judy Conway, is calling for a public inquiry into how no-one helped the football-loving little boy as he went through almost a year of unimaginable agony before he finally succumbed. Heather documented the abuse and the injuries on video cameras and in photographs as if she was proud of it. When little Adrian died, his father went out and bought six feeder pigs. He then tossed the body in their pen trying to erase all evidence of how they had tortured the boy to death.

Disney World's new Pandora-World of Avatar land (inset) opens in Florida in late May at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom and cost $500 million to build. The actress took to Twitter last week to share candid details about the casting call, revealing she was told she was 'too old' to play the wife of a 57-year-old actor. Although she refused to name names, Jamie insinuated that it was the actor starring in the show who wanted his wife to be no older than 38. Michael Phelps's son Boomer celebrated his first birthday this week - and did so in a suitably aquatic style. An infuriated cow unleashed revenge on a hungry anaconda after rediscovering the predator had killed its calf by squeezing the life out of the young animal on the Brazil-Paraguay border. Video shot by a farmhand shows the grieving animal angrily lashing out with its hooves and headbutting the lethal creature as it mourns the loss of its child. But the five-metre anaconda, which has been lassoed with ropes by three farm workers, who are trying to pull it away from the scene, isn't easily cowed by the furious animal's actions.

The lawsuit, filed by attorney Mark Geragos on behalf of festival goers last week, claimed the organizers had no intention of throwing the elite music festival they advertised. The tips 10-year-old Juliana Ossa absorbed while visiting Gatorland in Orlando helped her make quick decisions when a 9-foot alligator bit her on the leg in Florida's Mary Jane Lake on Saturday. Ossa first tried hitting the alligator to escape, but when that didn't work she remember what she was taught while visiting the theme park and wildlife preserve in Orange County. The tactic of blocking its breathing worked like a charm for the smart pre-teen.

Talk about a last second surprise! A North Carolina husband convinced his wife to wait until the very last second — literally — to find out what gender their baby is. He's so amazed, he forgets to tell his wife, Magniola, what gender the baby is.

This is the heart warming moment an excited dog is reunited with her cancer suffering owner after two months apart and making a 1,500 mile trip to see him. Former army and Navy Seabee veteran Brad had to move from his New Mexico home to Boise, Idaho in order to care for his elderly mother and as a result had been separated from his dog Ava for two months. However Ava, who is said to have been at Brad's side as he battled cancer on three previous occasions, was brought to her owner once again. The clip begins with Ava entering the house and upon picking up Brad's scent scours the living room, kitchen and pantry to find her owner.

This is the incredible moment a baby with seemingly super-strength manages to move a heavy cot from the other side of the room on his own. The 10-month-old was filmed in his nursery in Russia. Using all his might, he stands with his legs apart while continuing to successfully turn the cot around in a 180 degree motion. And after his hard work was paid off, the baby slipped down on to the floor for a well-deserved rest.
