She likes J-Rod...but not A-Lo! Jennifer Lopez talks nicknames for new relationship with Alex Rodriguez adding she 'loves' his dance moves

Jennifer Lopez said she knew her relationship with Alex Rodriguez would get a nickname.

And while the 47-year-old World Of Dance star is fine with A-Rod, she is not at all into A-Lo. Both are mash-ups of their own monikers A-Rod and J-Lo.

The beauty made this clear when talking to Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on the Today show on Monday.

When asked what she thinks of J-Rod, she said she 'doesn't care' and that.

'It doesn't matter. I mean, I figured something like that would happen,' said the Shades Of Blue actress.

But as far as A-Lo the stunner said: 'Don't like that as much.'

She then said they had a great time at the Met Gala last week in NYC.

And she loves that the guy can move on the dance floor. 

'He dances merengue. He dances all the important stuff for me,' Lopez said.

The star was seen entering the studios in a short black coat to promote her new NBC show World Of Dance.

The two have been spotted many times at a gym in Miami.

Rodriguez has a history of dating women who like to stay buff, from Madonna to Cameron Diaz.

So Lopez may be feeling some pressure to stay ultra toned.

Her romance with Rodriguez comes after a summer 2016 split from dancer Casper Smart after allegations he was cheating on the Shades Of Blue actress. 

Lopez is both an executive producer and a judge on World Of Dance, premiering May 30.

She’ll be joined by fellow judges Derek Hough and NE-YO, as well as host/mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum.
